Re: uip-tool

Hi... when I run uIP-Tool (v43) on my MSTE *and* Falcon it shows the MAC address but freezes after "DHCP:". No IP address is displayed.

Any ideas?

Re: Volume 2 campaign extended

Yeah he should have definitely be in the list of prospective interviewees

by my reckoning :-

Automation - 174 cracks/packs under Was (Not Was)
Automation - 351 cracks/packs under Vapour
D-Bug - 398 cracks/packs under Hot-Knife

= 923

Surely the most of any Atari ST cracker?

Did they overwrite the OS because it was faster? Or because it freed up memory on 512Kbyte machines? The memory overheads I would say are relatively gone with most users today having 2-4Mbytes. I'd say memory issues really. Plus some really good coders set up their own entire OS like Braybrook and ...

Best would be to just replace so called DMA load (direct FDC access) with regular GEMdos fileloads. It is made in many case, but sometime it is simple not possible, or requires rewrite of big parts of game. F1 GP starts at $400 - where system variables are, so no way about filing in way that it wil...

It was not easy 'cos game uses practically all RAM in 512KB. If it bombs reason is probably cache of hard disk driver - must lower it. Hi pperra, Ok, I've reduced my HDDriver buffer to as low as it can go (36k), I booted with nothing in memory (no NVDI or ACCs). I still get 3 bombs (what does that ...

perra, Just tried Crammonds GP (as it's a great game) First on my 4mb STe. I get 3 bombs after loading loader.prg I tried the other ones too. I then tried it on Steem, but I still have the problem of saving games. This is because it won't let me format a data disk in the disk menu. I've tried using ...

Doesn't the Pompey Pirate version (I can't believe I'm saying this) run in half a meg, have a mega trainer and work with all tos's ? (R-Type doesn't run with TOS 1.62 with both the PP and AL versions).

Download Toxic Monst (from a PP menu)

it has a progream called 'readboot' run this within Monst, it loads and runs/traces a boot sector. Or you could just use the relevant Trap call.

Hello auto 00v2 sinbad (crash with all TOSes) thanx Ahh, when i saw 'crash with all TOSes' I presumed you must have tried the games on an emulator. I really don't think we would ever have time to fix all these games for STe. It's a hard enough job fixing corrupt menus and bad datas :) Our prime goa...

D-Bug 192 a/b - Dragon Flight, Pooz

The onslaught continues. We're very proud to present the first ever crack of Dragon Flight . Way back in more active times most of the top crackers had this game, but none of them succeeded in cracking it.....until now that is. Melcus has certainly excelled himself with a cracked, packed, ram-disked...
