Re: ROM port Ethernet adapter

OK! so let's try it. I've attached a debug version of the driver, the thing is how I get the debug log :-) I see that VanillaMiNT has toswin2 installed so toswin2's console should catch the debug messages. Because it's a xid driver the module is loaded during the boot so the debug log will be split ...

Re: ROM port Ethernet adapter

Tested. At boot FreeMiNT displays: "RTL8012 ethernet romport driver version 1.10" On the desktop, if I ping my internet box, everything is fine, no packet lost. And by testing Highwire I can sur on Atari-Forum. For me all seems ok. In 060 mode, the ethernet pocket is well recognized but a...

Re: ROM port Ethernet adapter

That is NetUSBee and Hydra network card. I have such a setup on my TT and EasyMiNT. But currently my nfs-Server is down as I had to reinstall my physical home server and I have not completed that nfs task yet. So currently difficult to test... No, I don't mean those romport devices (NetUSBee or Hyd...

ROM port Ethernet adapter

Hi!

Is anybody still around who uses this hardware with the MiNT drivers (rtl8012)?
Some changes have been done in the driver's delay functions and I need a tester to check that nothing is broken.

Thanks!

Re: NEW USB Host Controller via ACSI

Hi!

Some changes have been made in MiNT's delay functions, so I need some Unicorn owner to test that new drivers don't break anything.
I need a tester for TOS (*.prg) and MiNT (modules) drivers.

Thanks!

Re: CTPCI and USB card

I have just tested USB mouse (working perffectly) and keyboard, and it is wotking. Because I have still TOS 2.02 from 05/06/12 and issue with LSHIFT and RALT (print sign 3). I have read above that this issue has been resolved with newest version from December 12, 2012. Where can I find this ? As fa...

Re: CTPCI and USB card

Hi Kroll, great to read about your Falcon working again. Over the latest FreeMiNT official snapshot install the kernel in mint060_pcibios_2.zip. Then let's try first only the network card function, without and with memory protection so we can see if Wongck's crash can be replicated. Hi I have just ...

So tomorrow's snapshot build will have this fix ?

Already there, I've just pushed the commits and thanks to Miro's work snapshots now are made whenever commits are pushed.

Re: CTPCI and USB thumb drive

CT60TOS can handle DOS FAT16 partitions and MiNT too, so I guess the problem with your 256MB device must be something else. Oh, WoW. which beta release is that on? I don't know but the beta you have should have support for it. EDIT: From Didier's website: 2009 November. New integration of a PCI USB...

Re: CTPCI and USB thumb drive

I did not know that, information about these seems difficult to find. Do you know of any resources on this topic? May be some release notes? The best place to find this info is Didier's web site I guess So it looks like TOS 2,02 does not read the USB device. Of course Fat32 devices can't read by TO...

Re: CTPCI and USB card

Perhaps Latz didn't trigger the error because his kernel was running without memory protection and Wongck with it. I'm going to check if there is something that can trigger a memory violation in the code.

Thanks for the feed back!

Re: CTPCI and USB thumb drive

After reading the posts in this thread I'm not sure if you know that you don't need HDDriver to use USB mass storage devices, Didier's TOS handles it by itself, of course if you want to access FAT32 partitions you'll need MiNT. And you don't need to format them with HDDriver to use them in your ATAR...

Re: CTPCI and USB card

Hi, Is a USB card with the NEC µPD720101 chip? Unfortunetly my PCI cards are mounted horizontally "upside down" (chips are on bottom side), so i can´t see that. Would have to remove the card, but it´s well fixed with some screws. If my USB test ends negative, i´ll remove the card and then...

Re: CTPCI and USB thumb drive

So I finally put in my USB card into the CTPCI. I plug in a USB thumb drive and it was found by TOS. It was given the next free drive letter by Hddriver. The thumb drive was 8GB and in FAT32. The stuff already on it was not seen on the Falcon. Nevertheless I drag a small text file from the Mint des...

Re: CTPCI and USB card

Correct! Devices are not found even with CT60TOS. So it´s not your problem, seems like the USB card is incompatible somehow. Card is 3.3/5V (two slots in pci connector), 4 external + 1 internal USB ports and correctly detected at boot... don´t know why it´s not working. It´s CT60TOS beta 10, May 20...

Re: CTPCI and USB card

I think this keyboard issue was fixed with beta 12 on December 2012. From history_drivers.txt 2012 December ------------- Some changes inside the lwIP RTL8139 driver (lwip/rtl8139.c). Changed web server port 80 to 8080 (lwip/web.c). Added web server to the CT60/CTPCI target. Fixed bug with USB defa...

yes, unfortunately the source for 2,.02 was not release for public. Anyway, this is the version TOS 2.02 beta 10 06/05/2015 13:50 Thanks for the info.
