Re: Firebee and Toswin2

It works, that is windows appear correct and all that. Just using the cursor keys inside it, doesn't work. Appears as if they don't generate any code. I set my term to tw100. This definitely works for me. Maybe try this version , the same I have? I've stumbled into this issue with the same binary l...

Re: Firebee and Toswin2

An old version can be found here: http://home.arcor.de/zabruder/atari/tools/toswin26.zip Meanwhile I've further improved it, so the above is surely outdated. Once I got vttest running, and some other unfinished things done, I'll update the above. I cannot tell if it fixes any of the issues mentione...

Re: FireBee Settings

As a followup I did restore my backup to a blank properly formatted CF Card and it appears to be working!!! Out of curiosity, which brand and size is the CF card showing the problem? and the working one? I meant the Backup/Restored worked (as far as I can tell). The issue with having to boot into E...

Re: FireBee Settings

Again if I understand others correctly by running EMUTOS I can not run FreeMiNT because of not having full Coldfire FreeMiNT binaries. No this is false, there are 100% ColdFire FreeMiNT's binaries, so it's possible to run FreeMiNT over EmuTOS. When I used the TT Keyboard the Atari Mouse didn't work...

So what DIP Switch Settings and versions of Firmware, BaS, etc do I need to get a properly working system and for what I want to accomplish? If you want stability and be able to run the most software as possible, I'd put switch 5 down, use BaS(CodeWarrior), and FireTOS (latest version should be OK ...

The combination BaS(gcc)+EmuTOS doesn't allow yet to use USB keyboards or mice.
You'll need an ATARI keyboard or a PS/2 keyboard with an Eiffel adapter.

Re: Firmware Upgrade Woes on FireBee

When I do that the FireBee chirps nonstop like a stuck key on the keyboard and goes straight to the ColdBoot menu and locks up. What kind of keyboard are you using? and which BaS? Be aware that if you run the FireBee in native mode any non ColdFire binary load from the AUTO folder can crash your sy...

Re: [BUG] VsetMode Falcon Video mode not working on Firebee

The VIdel implementation in the FPGA isn't complete and has some bugs. Under EmuTOS what you see probably isn't a bug in VSetMode but in the Videl. And this is going to frustrate you more, Vincent already report about those bugs in March 2012 in the developer forum. About the different behavior betw...

If I'm right the combination of this card plus FireTOS is going to drive you nuts. ;-) The card that I have which makes the FireBee behave like this also came with the machine. The brand of the CF is "disk2go.com" ... If FireTOS is not compatible with the original given CF, that's a probl...

I use the CF card which was given with the Firebee, but I had this error after updating the Firebee to the latest BaS gcc, now I flashed back the original BaS (codewarrior) and it seems I don't get this error anymore (FireTOS wasn't even detecting the CF card on IDE 0.0) Now it detect it each time ...

Re: A few Firebee questions (general & dev)

I was wondering if there is some kind of NVRAM in the Firebee holding config information ? Because, the "blue" battery inside the bee was drained and not recharging, so I had to take them out, maybe this is causing the problem ? (just guessing) Regarding failed startup: there is a bug in ...

I've tried this weekend to install EasyMiNT on the FireBee, it succeed however my first attempts failed due to the CF card I was using (Kingston 4 GB), the unpacking of the packages were getting stuck. With a different CF card (SanDisk 4 GB) everything ran flawlessly.
