This is where TOS hardware abstraction abilities show their limit. only on non TOS machines? I guess why not contact the EMUTOS amiga dev team and query it with them.. or the GEMbench author and see if he can produce a limited version for you to test with... failing that.. write your own EMU TOS com...

I am in the UK.. my studio is the front room..

I use a job lt of MIDI gear with the ST and cubase MIDI linked to a Mac / Logic for post / mastering or more digital outboard Fostex D108 or VS880ex

have you tried running gembench on an atari running EMU TOS ? does that work?

as Chris says the supporting hardware will not be there running it on an amiga running EmuTOS to report much.. I am not sure how complete EMUtos on amiga actually is..

I managed to bag an Atari PC-1 recently, haven't got the harddrive running yet.. got to check the connections and maybe find the right driver disk?

here's it running Frogger. nice machine I have to say my Dad had a Hercules equipped machine back in the day and this really performs spot on!

I think the Amiga's gaming window is really rather small, the ST had 85 into 88 the Amiga 88-89 The Megadrive and SNES saw off the 16 bit games market, then things had moved onto PC argh! The Amiga had less guts for 3D than the ST surely and thats where the coders were heading! I'm still using my ST...

on the defender front Cybernetix is a classic St variant and Andes Attack

but all the talk of eggs and spiders makes me think of Duck Dash, not a defender game but a favourite of many
