Re: Lion core ported to MiSTer

I just got 2 emails from Theodoulos:
1st one saying it was most likely the case but had never tested it with SDHC.
2nd one after he did test it with SDHC and it does not work.

Re: Lion core ported to MiSTer

I wanted to try this core but failed miserably: I suspect the core does not support sdhc but only sd up to 2GB. If this is the case it would be a shame as these are almost impossible to find. I have a few but normal size, not micro. If sdhc is supported I cannot figure what I did wrong. I wanted to ...

Re: MiSTer Filesystem read-only when FTP connects

I noticed that transfers via FTP fail, because as soon as FTP connects to MiSTer the file system on the SD-Card becomes read only. Is there a setting that causes this and how would it be fixed? This is really strange. I can transfer files via FTP, I can delete files on the MISTer side and I did not...

Does the "Update Boot+Files" function changes any configuration file or do I have to restore any backup file after the update?

Re: why I can't change the background using F1 anymore?

I don't want to open a new thread so I will take the opportunity to ask another question about the KB. When staring MISTer the OSD is displayed, pressing F12 brings the OSD to MISTer Settings. After running any core how do you reach this settings screen again? I tried WIN+F12, Alt+F12, Shift+F12 an...

8O 8O 8O I am speechless!
5 hours after my post and the "problem" is fixed and the solution already existed before the announcement of the core. The developers of the arcade cores are unbelievable and I wonder if they get any sleep seeing the number of new arcades and fixes. Thanks to all.

Re: Arcade cores

New Core: Super Bagman Arcade can found here: https://github.com/cavemanxzx/MiSTer-Arcade-SuperBagman It is my understanding that the original goal of introducing mra files was to avoid the step of building roms which was a problem for some users. Although this new core uses a zip file this zip fil...

Re: A larger enclosure?

........ I'm beginning to think that might require a custom USB hub PCB mounted at the front of the enclosure to line up properly. Don't think I could just use the existing board - one of the longer sides only has 3 ports and I feel like I'd want at least 4. You could use a USB extension with one s...
