Re: NeoGeo topic

When using the free unibios 3.3, is there a way to save the default boot mode from Europe/Console to something else. It's really not that big of a deal, but it would be nice to not have to press A+B+C every time at boot to change it. I like to use USA/Arcade for MVS mode. On a real MVS (MV-1F) arca...

Re: Arcade cores

Great work on the GnG core, but uh, has anyone been able to continue? I can't seem to use my start button nor F1 to continue on the game over screen, the timer just ticks down. Push attack button. That doesn't work at all. Keep fire pressed and then quickly press 1P This sort of works but is incons...

Re: Joystick testing thread

Retroflag's SNES and Genesis 6-button controllers work fairly well. No complaints.

Re: Newbie questions

Is there a way to get the time adjusted to a different time zone when MiSTer is booting connected to the internet? Yep, if you have and used Locutus' latest update script, it should have also downloaded several new scripts. One of them is named timezone, when you run it it checks your IP and ascert...

Re: Newbie questions

In my experience, my TV works with everything but on my capture card it won't pick up sound and it might because the sound of the core is not high enough for the card to realize there is sound to capture. I hit this a lot with NES and C64 (until I switch SIDs).

Yes, but I figured out. I think vsync adjust in the MiSTer.ini file may have caused it. It was set for low latency (2). I changed it to 0 and the ao486 core loads normally now.

Re: ao486

Hi, I'm trying to understand what is happening when I attempt to start the ao486 core. I have an SDRAM board, 5.5 I/O Board with fan and heatsink attached. When I start the core, I see it starting to POST but right when it tries to find a boot device, it appears to lock up the MiSTer to the point I ...
