Re: https for atari-forum.com

Except NetSurf, no Atari browser was updated for the last 15 years or so. No CSS*, no JavaScript* and unless you go for a real bare bone website design, the classic Atari browser running on Atari hardware simply won't handle a website. I certainly won't go back to a time of table-based layouts with...

But you can't use Atari with HTTPS websites.

Re: Moving my BBS from Mega 4 to Raspberry Pi/Hatari

I'm always wanting to find meaningful uses for my retro machines, having a real Atari running a bbs sounds brilliant :) There are a handful of us loonies who are dedicated to it. You'll find even more among the 8bit crowd. :) That's nice :) Are you aware if there's decent list of telnet based BBS s...

Re: CT60e is coming :)

now CT60e comes without a CPU, so... where are people supposed to get one? Chinese ebay sellers are full of fakes. You need full CPU with MMU and FPU. There are different revisions of 060's (I'm aware of Rev.1, Rev.5 and Rev.6) and they're manufactured with different die sizes and later revisions a...

Re: CT60e not booting.

You can try to reset CT60 nvram with resetnvm.prg. It's included in tos060.lzh which you can find here:

Re: ct60 with a pico psu - startup problematic

Hello! This sounds very similar to my problems. I have a pico-PSU in my falcon also and when I try to power it on it very often just lights up the powerled for a fraction of a second and then dies down again. I've discovered that if I slightly twist the 12V power cable (coming from the AC/DC-adapte...

Re: Atari Falcon keyboard not responding

That can't be related. What is possible though is that you made a short circuit somewhere. I once "burned" a trace on PCB between the keyboard and the ACIA so I had to make a custom wire between them. Anyway, you need at least a multimeter device to find out what's going on there. Problem...

Atari Falcon keyboard not responding

Hi! I replaced falcon internal hard drive and IDE cable and rebooted machine. For some reason keyboard and mouse are not responding anymore. Machine boots ok, but keyboard is completely dead. Is there fuse for keyboard somewhere in falcons motherboard or is this possible some other issue? I checked ...
