Re: Any recommended powered USB Hub?

Doesn't the hub require soldering for external power? No, it's connected via a dc barrel jack, exactly like the one on the De-10. The ones I sell ship with a Y splitter. This provides enough power in my experience to run 2 wireless controllers, led keyboard, and mouse. Oh, so you can just use the p...

Re: Any recommended powered USB Hub?

As far as I understand, the micro USB port on the MiSTer is 2.0 only, anyway, so the hub being USB 2.0 shouldn't matter too much, right? I don't fully understand how OTG works, though.

Any recommended powered USB Hub?

So, I've been using a 4 port USB 2.0 hub to micro USB. It "works", but performance is not very good. Using wired gamepads it's fine, but bluetooth feels not great, missing inputs every now and then. I've tried a few powered hubs and the results haven't been great. Searching the board bring...

Re: MiSTer NES Core

So, I ended up recording a video. There's no audio because I didn't have my mixer plugged in. I recorded the footage using HDMI. As you can see, there's a single "column" of pixels missing. It's obvious in the GUI, and when looking at 45 angle lines, like the roof of the hospital, also not...

Re: MiSTer NES Core

I don't need the screen to scroll to see it, just showing the overscan. I'll take a screenshot when I'm home.

Re: MiSTer NES Core

Well, it does happen with any game. I loaded Faxanadu earlier today, and you can just see the issue with the numbers at the top. It's like one of the 'columns' doesn't get scaled horizontally.

Re: MiSTer NES Core

I think the vertical line might be a scaling artifact of some sort. I recorded a video where it's noticeable, but I only showed it for a brief moment. The game is probably not the best to see the effect, but you can notice it on the lower right portion of the terrain: https://i.imgur.com/XuOlrjl.gif

My bad, I mistakenly thought it was the IO board because of your previous post, and not the AIO board as cloudd said

Re: Gameboy core

That was happening to me with both the Game Boy and NES cores the other day after messing around for a while with the Genesis and TurboGrafx16 cores. Powering the MiSTer off and back on made everything work again.

Re: I/O Board

Newbie here. I have already been playing my de10 nano with mister and a OTG USB hub connected. The keyboard and USB controller work with no problems. I just received 2x AIO complete boards v5.3 from retro shop. Once I have 1 of the boards attached to the de10 nano. I plug in my usb hub with keyboar...

Re: I/O Board

I just used four small blobs of Sugru in the fan screw holes to get it attached to the board. I guess any other moldable glue will do. Removing it afterwards is not too messy either. Can't say I hear it unless I'm directly next to it, even without vibration pads. I'm using a 20mm Noctua, too, which ...

Re: Gameboy core

Just tested Castlevania Adventure with the latest version, and it has some issues with the UI. It flickers, the timer at the top sometimes disappears partially, and the main character disappears when it reaches the height of the counter (climbing ropes, for example, to a higher screen). I don't reca...
