Of course, all programs from text file must be located in AUTO folder, as text file himself. And , when booting, programs order is reading from text file, no matter how programs are really sorted in AUTO folder. This will work if you give the programs a non-executable suffix, like .prx. But I don't...

No, I think order of programs in AUTO folder.. Order or programs in AUTO folder is write in some kind of regular text file - like autoexec.bat or similar. Boot manager question !

Is there any boot manager which can handle PRG/APP order through autoexec.bat or similar text file - something like boot manager in MagiC PC ?
And that works on single TOS...

As i said , there's a lot of software, collecting from (I think) various sources, and then locked/compressed/other with some unknown program (for me, of course!)
And I have this CD, but still don't understand how to unlock or whatever this software:-)

Yep, my Geneva boot sequence was made with this trick - so far so good:-)
Because, from unknown reason, even manually edited SETS.DAT file refuse to boot Geneva files in proper order:-)

Well, as a lot of Atari users I also use XBoot 3 and, generally, it works.. But... When I try to use XBoot on some emulators which use native host file system (NTFS/FAT32 mostly), I can make almost everything unless changing PRG order - busy bee is show and that's it, nothing happend - I can wait fo...

Yes, you're right, I made a typing mistake:-)
The fist introduction was 12.January 1984, AH series of ROM - nasty stuff, full with bugs, but Tony Tebby fixed a lot of problems very quick:-)

Sinclair QL, somewhere in 1983...and still BIG fan :-) In this time QL was quite a revolution, no matter of some really bad flops - membrane keyboard, funny microdrives..
