I only put this on my github site when I got it working, it is in its raw state ie no bells and whistles just a basic core. No load functions. The code also needs to be cleaned. It uses the old framework which needs fixing. I did not mean it to be picked up so soon. Although its in a reasonable stat...

That’s good to hear. Any chance of sound fix for Robotron? As I worked on speech for Sinistar I found that the sound board was running too quick (about 11%). The text mode is basically attribute + text. The raw graphics frame buffer is not required. You just need a small buffer 2bytes per char. So, in this case you don't need SDRAM at all. You can use only BRAM. I got rid of the graphics frame buffer and produce the vga from the text buffer which is 80 ...

Btw, I finally found compatible roms for the various arcade cores except Xevious. All the Roms I tried boot well, tests ok, title screen appears and game restarts the boot sequence and so on.
