Re: C64 Core

Is it actually possible to use a USB mouse?

GEOS is almost unusable without a mouse. And for the C64 there was a mouse. The only question is, is this implemented in the core. At least GEOS will not recognize a mouse attached to the USB port.

Re: Real floppy drives with MiSTer?

This is almost impossible. Just how many different formats already exist. Then there are Drives, like Commodore, which are already a stand-alone computer, while others are simply connected to a floppy controller and the operating system has to take care of everything. Then there were 3", 3.5&qu...

Re: Maximum SD card size for MiSTer ?

I use a Sandisk 64GB without problems as the first SD card in the Nano Board. Set up according to the instructions in the wiki.

Yes, and then copied to the TI-99_4A directory. Now the Basic is loaded automatically when the core is started.

NML32 wrote:First load tiroms.bin under the first option in the OSD: "Load full or c.bin *.bin"
Then you can load the game ROMS C, D, or G bins from the OSD.

Thanks for the tip! Now it works too!

Re: Minimig (Amiga) core discussion

How can I use the secondary IDE port? I have 3 hard disk images that also work on the primary port. Only no matter what image I mount on the secondary port, it is not recognized by WB3.1. For example, if I mount an image running on the Primary IDE Controller on the Secondary IDE Control, the disk is...

Re: USB Hub board

problem not in soldering itself (at least to me) but in aligning the pins and keep it in place till several pins got soldered. A sensible flux can also help here. Because this one's pretty tough and almost sticky. If you apply some of this beforehand and then align the chip, it remains in its posit...

Re: USB Hub board

If you only have a soldering station, TQFP can be soldered very easily using "drag soldering". There are corresponding instructions in YouTube. Important is a high-quality flux, so no cheap crap from eBay or other dubious sources. I have already soldered a lot of TQFPs in this way without ...

Re: If you want to donate to MiSTer project.

I also had to pay a fee of 3.97 EUR for yesterday's donation. That was then just under 40% fees. Meanwhile Paypal seems to charge extremely high fees in certain situations. It would be nicer if all the money arrived.

Re: TI-99/4A on Mister (based on Speccery's)

I still can't quite get along with creating the ROMs. What you find on the Internet is either C, C + D, C + D + G, D + G or just G. So far, so good. Creating the tiroms.bin was no problem. Creating a tiroms.bin with C + D files also works (even the only CDCDCD works). But that's all I can get to wor...

No, unfortunately not. I always get the message that the PPP interface is offline. Several times already installed AmiTCP 4.3 on a fresh system.

Re: Minimig (Amiga) core discussion

This also works with the WB3.1 by clicking on the Pictogram of HDTools after booting and then on Icon and then Information. Then change the line "SCSI_DEVICE_NAME=scsi.device" to "SCSI_DEVICE_NAME=uaehf.device". Then start HDTools. Now he also finds the records and you can contin...

Re: Arcade cores

Most Arcarde machines were configurable by DIP switches on the board (bonus level, life per coin, difficulty level, etc.). Can these configurations also be made for the Arcarde Cores? For example via a configuration file? Here is an example of Moon Patrol: http://www.arcaderestoration.com/gamedips/5...
