Re: Make .prj from CLI

I made a script some time ago; it uses python + make internally to build from PRJ. It's part of CrossTOS, which is an experimental cross-compiler-compiler (it bolts a 68k emulator + binary + fake TOS into a portable binary). TC and PureC seems to work well enough to build things. https://bitbucket.o...

Re: Extend the sound system for MiNT

If firebee can do, vampire should, too. Don't forget AMMX capapilities, this should be as powerfull as DSP. nope. there is no enough power to emulate DSP neither with ColdFire nor 68080. But they add DSP support directly in FPGA code One doesn’t have to emulate the DSP to add a useful standard XBIO...

I still did not get an answer if it is possible to use Svethlana without MiNT (from TOS)?

Only if someone writes a STiNG driver for that particular scenario. Don't think anyone has done that.

Re: Graphics tablet USB driver

Unfortunately no easily, the problem with FireTOS (and the TOS for the CTPCI) is that we need to uninstall their builtin USB drivers before we install these other drivers but there isn't a clean way to do it. Also to make a specific driver version for the FireBee won't work because there isn't eith...

I’d check if NVDIDRV8.SYS (or SVDRV8.SYS id you’re on SV) is ok.

Re: PLATOTERM for Atari ST - A PLATO terminal for IRATA.ONLINE - 0.5 Beta

In 256 color modes, it makes sense to remap your pen indices to the palette instead of the other way around, IMO. It’s not that much work, and it’s a lot nicer than having your pretty desktop background turned into colorful vomit.

Re: MegaSTE floppy cable - twisted or straight?

Not entirely sure I understand the question, but all ataris use a straight floppy cable. Long story short - I put a MSTE back together and used whatever I could find to do so :) The MSTE has a "separate" cable unlike e g the F030 where the cable is attached directly to the motherboard, an...

Re: Turbochip - 7-channel YM+DMA replay

Could this evolve into transwave synthesis, perhaps? (i.e. modulating through a set of synchronised waveforms, hence producing all sorts of effects such as pulse width modulation or even filter fx). It would consume a bit of memory, but perhaps it won't affect CPU usage that much (I'm clueless obvio...

Re: ZXR 0.1c (updated)

I am another one who would like to see also FireBee version. But I think most reasonable would be to run amulator in a GEM window. Like SDL ports. Another CPU core written in C makes a sense. But also the suboptimal code could be ststed. If it is usable on the Falcon then I believe it should be fas...

Re: ZXR 0.1c (updated)

Can you port it for FireBee? With a little work it could be made to run on the Firebee, but it won't be native ColdFire code (hence it will be sub optimal). It would probably make more sense to use another emulator in such case. Or, perhaps I should add an additional CPU core written in C... That c...
