Re: Thomson MO5/TO7

Here is the code of the S3MO5 (Spartan-3) from Olivier.
A big thanks to Torlus for reaching Olivier and getting the source code.
I might try to do the port to MiSTer if nobody tries but if someone with more experience wants to give it a shot first, please do it :D.

Thomson MO5/TO7

I was wondering if anyone will be interested to have the Thomson MO5 and TO7 (French computers from the 80's) to be ported or developed to MiSTer I look online for exiting FPGA development, I only find this old web page from "Torlus" on the MO5: https://web.archive.org/web/20071114014641/h...

Re: Would MiSTer ever be able to run a Neo Geo core?

I am down to finding these two files. I downloaded the latest unibios. Do I rename a particular file to 'neo-epo.sp1'? I have many bios files but can't seem to find an isolated 'top-sp1.bin' file. Should I be looking for an older neogeo or neogeoCD bios? Again is there a file I may have already tha...

Re: USB Hub board

USB3150 - FU** -even the price is a little bit insane! Why not use the one I'm using - OK, the row with the 5 pins is a little bit tight to solder, but I'm using normal 1.6mm board - works good - and they are cheap :D Are we talking about this one - it is only $1 here: Newark USB3150-30-130-A (1.30...

Re: custom USB controller adapters

It's some sort of USB to serial adapter. Generally speaking you can use the nano as well, but you will need to make a special driver. With Micro, you can use standard HID USB stack, so MiSTer will see it as a generic joystick and won't need special driver. I see, I can do a version with the Micro. ...

i think you mean Arduino Micro. Nano has no native USB controller. Micro (Atmega32u4) has.

The Nano have a FTDI Chip - no?

Re: custom USB controller adapters

Here is the Sega Megadrive/Genesis to Neo-Geo it use a Arduino Nano (clone) or a Atmega168/328 directly.
With the Arduino Nano it can be used as a controller to USB (even Neo-Geo with the male to male converter).
I also did the an SNES version.
Some buttons are used for autoFire.

Are VHD image read only?

I'm trying to remove the need of the second SD card for CP/M in the Mulicomp. So far I can access the Mulicomp.VHD fine but it seems to be read only (I do a "PIP B:=C:MBASIC.com" command which is working fine with the second SD Card but crashing with the Mulicomp.VHD). Are VHD image read o...

So people recommend the Duo units instead, giving up those 6 games (and RGB out without hardware mods) but gaining a more reliable drive and console. Will be great to be able to play the CD ISO too, like CD-ROM² or TurboDuo for example. I try Google but apparently nobody tried on a fpga.
