Migraph handscanner

Hello,

Took my Migraph handscanner out of storage but made the error of not labelling the power adaptor, so it is jumbled up with a host of others. Can some kind soul can provide me with the voltage and the polarity so I don't fry the device ?

Thanks

SCSI2SD V5.06b and MegaSte instability - blocks and sectors

Hello, Just when it seems I have it all set up with HD Driver 10, and auto booting, partition C eventually become corrupt. I am using a 1G card. I am wondering if I need to change the number of sectors to something other than the default or if there are any particular parameters specific to the Mega...

MegaSTE Maxtor 7120s and ICDLink II

Hello, I have a working Maxtor 7210s from my TT (several partitions). I want to connect it to my MegaSte to transfer files. The MegaSte has a working internal drive, set up and booting using HD Driver 7. The Maxtor has two blocks of jumpers. The first pair of each is jumpered by default from what I ...

RAM? Yes, that was my first step before I even plugged in the diagnostic cartridge. Does boot to desk...

Re: Atari TT boots to desktop but black screen with diagnostic cartridge plugged in

If you've got a 2MB ST-RAM card added then remove it and try again with the diag cart. Your TT might have the cartridge port fuse burned. If this is the case when you plug the cartridge it pulls all lines to LOW and would probably give you the black screen you see. Anyway: I've seen the inductor ne...

Atari TT boots to desktop but black screen with diagnostic cartridge plugged in

I have a TT that has a floppy drive problem. I can see the file directory but cannot copy anything. The drive makes a repeated beep noise. The floppy drive works fine in my 1040ST. I can't get a drive emulator to work on the TT either, my first approach at trying to solve the problem. I did swap the...

Re: USB HxCF Atari TT Freezes at HxC manager

Just to confirm, are your refering to the DIP switches, in the lower right corner of the TT ? Yes - I've not been in there for some time so thought they were jumpers. But yes E0-E7 in TOS aligns to D1-D7 on the switch array there. From what I recall, these 8 bits are part of the cookie jar in TOS a...

Re: USB HxCF Atari TT Freezes at HxC manager

Keep the HxC in standard Atari mode (AtariHD is something different). Then try removing the E6 jumper to set the floppy type setting in TT's TOS to double density.the jumper is under the hard drive bay towards the front of the machine IIRC. Thanks for the response. Just to confirm, are your referin...

USB HxCF Atari TT Freezes at HxC manager

I have repeatedly tried without success to get my USB HxC Floppy emulator (v. 3.0.6a) to work with my TT. I have tried all three modes (normal, index and autoboot, with the JA jumper set only for normal setting". I have tried both "Atari St" and "Atari HD" as configuration s...

Re: Mega Ste partial read of hard disk then 4 bombs

Thanks, explains what I am seeing. I have gotten a Seagate ST5660N. From the web this is a SCSI2, does it have to be SCSI1 ? Also should termination be on, I assume yes because it is the last drive. If I was to add my external Link 2 to the chain, I assume termination on the internal drive would hav...

Mega Ste partial read of hard disk then 4 bombs

Hello, I have decided to try and get my Mega Ste up and running. No floppy or hard disk so I grabbed both from my working TT. It get the memory check, then HD Driver 7 pops up on the screen, then the message "No partitions found", followed by "Allotted memory 46 bytes", followed ...
