Re: NeoGeo topic

Furrtek, Sorge, GreyRogue and Rysha, (I hope I am not missing anyone's name), BIG thank you for this core! I look forward to trying this and am waiting on my 128mb board.

Re: Genesis / Megadrive core ported to MiST

Is there an updated list of changes? Also, will the two different versions (main and Virtua Racing)of the core someday get merged after more testing is done? What work/testing can we do to help merge the two if so?

Re: "MiSTer PC Engine CD & TurboGrafx-CD Begins"

I certainly have zero complaints with any FPGA project and love checking on the updates. I see ElectronAsh's github shows preliminary work on cores for Jaguar(!), CPS1, GBA and MIDI devices. That is exciting. I have zero experience in core creation and hope one day I will have the time to delve into...

Re: "MiSTer PC Engine CD & TurboGrafx-CD Begins"

Please forgive my ignorance on who is the creator of the current PC Engine CD core work. Will the source code eventually be out there for others to pick up if the interest otherwise stagnates?

Re: "MiSTer PC Engine CD & TurboGrafx-CD Begins"

I keep looking for updates on any start to CD games on the MiSTer, but now it seems the github link is dead? I've been holding off on the expensive SD version for my real NEC hardware in hopes of this. I'd love the TG16/PC-Engine mini consoles to surprise everyone and really take off to numbers that...

Re: PC Engine core

It would be REALLY cool if they added a Supergrafx version (surprised they didn't) since the system is expensive, rare, and possibly looks the best of the retro consoles; Of course put all the SGX titles on it and then some CD-rom based games. :) I also wonder if any of the shells would fit a MiST/M...

Konami just announced an upcoming Turbografx-16 mini with PC-Engine and Core-Grafx varients! This is especially cool because I want to buy the controllers to use on the MiSTer and MiST!

Re: Show us your MiSTer hardware setup

Wow, TWO separate Amiga drop in replacement keyboard projects at the SAME time? Interesting that A1200 is doing their own. I wonder how they will differ? The wording on the A1200 update page mentions USB but that could just mean keyrah compatible. Still, it's an exciting year for Amiga fans and thos...

Re: Show us your MiSTer hardware setup

BBond007 and AndreasWachter, I am very seriously considering a similar setup. I never had an Amiga and am looking at a new white A1200 case and original design new keycaps. For those that want to go with ALL new parts, check out the Kipper2k new cherry switch replacement Amiga keyboard (ouch on the ...

Re: Arcade ROM Builder & Injector GUI

Hey Newsdee! Yes, and in fact I have had 7zip installed on every PC I've touched since it was created. :) Whatever the issue I had, it went away. I am soon to test all my work on these arcade roms. I have fully injected rbf files with the roms from the GUI tool, and I also manually sorted all the or...

Re: Arcade ROM Builder & Injector GUI

Yes- I'm actually surprised a pre-compiled set has yet to show up on ArcadePunks let alone well, anywhere. I really hope a set falls into my lap because I just tried again but can't get the GUI tool to work. Anyone else have the issue where the GUI claims 7za.exe is missing even when it is in the sa...

Apple IIGS?

Does anyone know if there are any projects working on Apple IIGS cores (or add GS support to current Apple II)? If there was Disk write support + full IIGS, I'd probably sell my upgraded Woz Edition.

Re: Show us your MiSTer hardware setup

Very nice! I am actually somewhat surprised I have yet to see a YT video of a MiSTer project built into a small handheld like a Sega Nomad. A portable MiSTer that can still hook up to the big screen when needed would be awesome.

The fix I used was to copy all the card contents to a backup location, format the card again with the mister setup tool and then copy it all on back.

Sorry, I was not replying directly to the Atari800 core part of the discussion but as a thank you and feedback to the core as a whole. I tried out the LATEST updater script and it is great that it can auto-download cores. In my case it made everything on the sd card Read-only.

Rapid-Fire options (especially TG16/PC-Engine)?

What does everyone feel about rapid fire options? Great as a universal feature for all/many cores or implemented elsewhere? Though I will eventually get one of the modern options of controller adapters, I mostly hope to find a way for PC-Engine/TG16 core implementation because it's one of the few sy...

Re: Arcade ROM Builder & Injector GUI

This is a very nice utilty. Some of the alternate games in the dropdown that do not appear in the official Mister arcade core .rbf files: how do you play without an rbf. When we have these roms 20 times over since 1997 (MAME), I get that core creators have to cover their tracks by not including the ...
