Hi. Not halted, but paused. Sorry, I was too busy with real life I'm afraid. Hopefully core development would restart shortly.

Sure no worries, understandable life does tend to do that.. thanks for responding!

Re: C64 Core

Btw, before i fix, the following way make the reset without sticky keys: press LALT+LCTRL and while holding them quickly press the RALT and release. Then release LALT and LCTRL. I always reset this way - that's why i never encountered sticky keys. If i release LALT+LCTRL first and the release RALT ...

Re: C64 Core

Looks like Paradroyd figure out the issue somewhat.. seems the modifier keys get "stuck" and the core thinks the key is being held down (when its not) seems if you try tapping either (or) both alternatively the left CTL or the left ALT a few times it will eventually restore the functionali...

Re: C64 Core

Anyone have a problem with the c64 core, after say loading a PRG or D64 .. then doing a CTL-ALT-ALT to reset the core (or using the reset button), the keyboard stops working correctly just resulting in gibberish, I tried a few older cores and the problem starts with the 19.02.20 version of the core ...

Oh this is unfortunate, I was looking to give NeoHabitat a go now the c64 core has UART support. Hopefully the issue is identified.

Re: FX CAST Atari ST core

Is that really an issue? I just correct the aspect ratio using an option in the HDMI display's built in menu. Tried that, doesnt work for mine .. Arguably it's your TV problem not the core. Debatable. Works fine for every other core.. except this one.. so yea, debatable .. its a standard old VIZIO ...

Re: MidiLink 2.0 looking for testers. (no MIDI devices required)

Apparently that core just got UART support :) We need to spread this to more cores, like the ZX Spectrum, vic20, plus/4, PET, the Apple II and the PlusToo (Mac Plus), HT1080z and TI994a as well as other cores too! Basically all cores that have serial should really get this enabled.. would be fantas...

Re: Arcade Injector GUI

cons: - if the core is updated, you need to inject the cores all over again That's why I designed it the way I did with the separate BAT, RBF and ROM folders. If you inject it once and leave the files in the folders, all you need to do when an updated core comes out is drop the new RBF in the folde...

Sorgelig has requested that I move the default soundfont and ROM folders to '/media/fat/linux' which I have done. Re: MidiLink 2.0 looking for testers. (no MIDI devices required)

Oh its with CCGMS 2019 Ultimate on the c64 core .. https://csdb.dk/release/?id=174485 Ok, I found that program does not put the delay between +++ and ATH so the hang-up was being rejected. Anyway, Update MidiLink again and add this like to your MidiLink.INI [C64] TCP_ATH_DELAY = 0 Its all working p...

Re: MidiLink 2.0 looking for testers. (no MIDI devices required)

I mean right now its not a huge problem, restarting the UART fixes it ..! Try and update, I found a problem, not with the hang-up code, but an issue with when the remote disconnects first. I still can't find a problem with the hang-up, but you don't mention which terminal programs you are having is...

Re: MidiLink 2.0 looking for testers. (no MIDI devices required)

The documentation for MidiLink shows a +++ATH command is supposed to be used to 'hang-up' the modem, which I assume is supposed to drop the TCP connection and allow the modem emulation to respond to normal AT commands. It doesn't seem to work, though. There needs to be a pause between +++ and ATH. ...

Re: MidiLink 2.0 looking for testers. (no MIDI devices required)

One thing I have noticed is when disconnecting from a BBS .. the UART doesnt seem to want to drop the connection, I have to go into F12 and "reset uart connection" .. Maybe it needs a bit of tweaking? UART works as a bridge between FPGA and HPS. It's completely unaware what's going on wit...

Re: MidiLink 2.0 looking for testers. (no MIDI devices required)

There is really no concept of "busy" for TCP streams... it either connects or it does not :) For example: Connection refused does not necessarily indicate busy and an actual response for BBS in a busy state might be a message suggesting other nodes or BBSs to try followed by a disconnect....

True but so far, when it has, its change has always been for the better.. worse case, just stick with a prior core release that best suits you.
