Is there a "how to" do profiling with hatari somewhere ? I see the hatari_profile.py script, but I don't know how to generate the profile with data from the start :)

In Opendune there isn't much data to convert :) Everything can be done at loadtime. As the game was initially under MSDOS in realmode, it had to fit in the 640K (550K or so in fact...) so some loading and unpacking are done at the last minute. 1) I don't think it is worth optimizing the main menu as long as it is 50fps. Have you used F8 key to display FPS ? The only realistic solution is to render the webpage as a bitmap on a proxy server of some sort, and then display this bitmap on the Atari. With the CosmosEx and it's ACSI/SCSI interface this would be fast enough for animations and even basic video. A proxy like wrp could help. Looks pretty cool. D...

Well I've done it the easy way and put back the internal ACSI <=> SCSI board with the dip switches changed It's working well. that would be great to have an adapter for installin the CosmosEX internally in MegaSTE/Stacy plugging on the internal ACSI connector. http://atari.8bitchip.info/MegaSTEACSI....

I've got my hands on a Stacy4. The internal HD is dead, so I'm trying to plug the CosmosEx. Externally in a first time.
I have the same ACSI <=> SCSI Board as in MegaSTE.
I've just figured I need 8 jumpers to get the data lines to the external ACSI port.
I keep you updated.
