Re: Manual for Lattice C

Kodak80 - I am installing myself right now, and I am in Geneva on a MegaSTE - I can change the volume labels, which I did, but when I go to install it still tells me I put in the wrong disk. I then just click the ignore button, and it continues to install, so not sure what is wrong there.. I notice ...

Re: Manual for Lattice C

As a quick question about this C - from what i read, I think this lattice C is pretty close to ANSI .. I know when we get to the 5 and 5.5 5.6 these are specific to Atari and the libraries are more involved and specific to the hardware, but for the ST, would most of you consider what I would learn w...

I have the full set of manuals of both versions (5.5 and 5.6) It will be a bit painful to scan them, but eventually... :) Well thats fantastic and I hope you really can contribute, saving things like this is really what the current Retro hobby is all about. I am looking to learn this language, as a...

Re: Manual for Lattice C

Glad I asked!!! :) I am guessing the 5.60 manual must be out there because we have the disk dumps. If the 3 or 4 of us ask around on the various forums we can find.. maybe someone will step up?

MegaSTe Activity Light

Hey all, I have a couple of megaSTe's and I have removed the internal drive in both of them. I now have an LED on the front that I would like to tell me something.. aka I have cosmos EX so I would like it to show me activity, because the cosmos sits behind my machine. This is the circuit I came up w...

Re: New board: MonSTer

I removed the MonSTer and the Blitter works fine on the computer so I suspect the various wires from the motherboard have gotten loose when I removed the board to desolder pin 20. They all look fine but you never know... Does anyone have a suggestion for a good type of glue for fastening wires to I...

Re: New board: MonSTer

So could someone explain to me how an ST can see 12mb when it does not have a 2+ tos in it? Does this board allow the ram to be accessed at primary ram? or 4mb primary + TT ram? There was an explanation that the MegaSTE can only access 6mb because it runs into the VME addressing.. is this because th...

Re: no MegaSTE ram expansion over 4MB ?

I appreciate the link to the MonSTer page, but info there is a little scetchy. SO the MonSTer board is 1. IDE interface for 2 drives? 2. Flash TOS holder for up to 4 images, and 3. 8mb of Ram that can be used at TT ALT ram. So - on an STF or STE can they also access this ram? Does HDDriver work with...

Cosmos with Geneva and Neodesk

As we all know Geneva and Neodesk is now out in the public domain. This will make it a popular OS combo for the ST. Using my microCosmos I have run into this issue. I have MegaSTe 4mb. TOS 2.06 with HDD driver 9.3 and microCosmos. I think I have an issue with the CE_DD driver for COSMOS. Bare SD car...

Well good luck, I hope you do well. If that had been the price when I was shopping for it, I would not have bought it. 160euro + shipping will be about $300 canadian dollars. Re: CosmosEX 3.0

YES, much more expensive, and for me as a current micoCosmos owner (which btw sold better than the full one) I am more interested in the developement of the software. The CE_DD driver so that we can have some MagiC and MiNT compatibility. or another driver for those? The STING driver - that does not...

Re: Hatari 2.1.0 has been released

Not about modern webbrowsing.. its about TELNET, IRC, EMAIL. Calling TELNET BBSs, IRC on #atariscne or ##atari.. or just sending and receiving emails. All of that is no problem on a real atari.. but on a Emulated Atari .. does not seem possible. Which seems crazy to me. There is software on the PC W...

So with 2.1 can we get on the net through the emulator yet? - what about something on the PC side that will re-direct the serial output to ethernet? I have no issues using STing or STick -- I know we can go from the virtural ST com to the PC com.. then what about directing the PC com to the ethernet...
