Re: ISA GFX Card not displaying in TT

I'm confused as to why you're still trying to diagnose with obviously broken cables. There's no point drawing any conclusions past this point until you get new cables.

Is someone selling new SVs, or did you buy it ten years ago and only decided to try it now? Just wondering

Re: COVID-19 Watcher 1.0.0

It's update time :) Version 1.0.1 has a reduced memory usage, some internal changes and bug fixes: the window no longer disappears after lowering the resolution, and the update detection should actually work instead of crashing when detecting an update. Coldfire binary included. http://atari.net.pl...

Re: GOEX for ST in the making

Well check it out then ;) https://centuriontech.eu/product/goex4st/ Will this fit in a Falcon ok? I will make a mount with 3,5" generic front bezel soon. This will fit Falcon perfectly. I'm seriously considering ordering two, one for my falcon and one for TT. I've always been wary of replacing...

Re: Strange thing happed while referbishing a keyboard

Kind of similar thing happened to me recently. Was refurbishing a TT keyboard. I cleaned the membrane down with PCB cleaning spray, then most keys would not work. I then used regular alcohol to wipe it down and it started working. The pcb cleaner seemed to have some ingredient - perhaps an anti-stat...

Re: Mach64 on Atari TT030 with issues

Yes there are two versions of yaart, one will test TT ram, the other will test st ram. Yes I would test the card in a PC to eliminate it as a cause, test st ram. And of course make sure you are using the correct driver for the DAC on your ATI card.

Re: Falcon & amp or soundcard : best options ?

If just using the Falcon's inputs and outputs you would end up with analogue via the Falcon's DAC.. Depends on your output at the end of the chain and if you use an FDI you could have a clean digital siignal. Even though I don't do this, I could connect Falcon to FDI to my speakers digitally. The F...

Is the line level from a MKX modified board (1/4" Jack's) enough for a display monitor to pick up?
Helps me over a bump :)

I think the MKX is industry standard line level, so it should be fine.

Re: Falcon & amp or soundcard : best options ?

I output optical from the FDI into my music dac (audiolab Mdac) for music. You need to understand that you always end up with analogue, as that is what a DAC is for, digital to analogue. The question is would you rather the sound of the ancient DAC inside the falcon or a more modern one. Personally ...

Wow I wasn't aware of Rastari... That's brilliant, straight into Hatari. I am now even more confused why you need something different, as Rastari looks to be exactly what you need?

Re: Like Amibian (Raspberry pi)

Beepi is only 1 year old and is extremely advanced, why would you need anything else? Even if there were a newer kind of release, it would be doubtful that it would achieve the accomplishments of Beepi.

Re: Falcon Mod Resurrection.

Those early Phatom boards actually work perfectly well when installed correctly. On the other side I've seen a couple of profesinally looking SMT variants, that were designed a completely wrong (bad ground layer, decoupling caps placed incorrectly, wrong chips used..). Well I can guarantee that Tux...

There are two pads, that are internally connected togeter. It is 500kHz output clock signal for the ACIA chips (keyboard and MIDI) On the board I have there is a copper trace connecting the two pads. SO thats fine.. All wired up.. all connections checked.. and the machine will not boot. So as per t...

I'm not sure how to associate with the built in viewer, but associating with QED would bring up the document with a simple double click I think? Just an idea.
