Re: Atari Power supply

I have one, and have seen quite a few on the other forum that have got those from ebay, it works great. Using some versions of the old atari brick ps is like russian roulette for your XL. There are quite a few threads on atariage discussing the differences between all the various atari branded power...

Re: V2 booster ready for pre-orders

The black wire is soldered to the bottom of the buffer board shifter socket pin, initially it was soldered right on the imp chip. It is in the right place. I have only tested high res. The shake initially starts off nearly a centimetre back and forth, it does settle down once the desktop displays to...

Sure here you go. Fwiw that c66 was soldered to the shifter originally, I added it to the buffer board or the machine will not boot. no video.

Re: V2 booster ready for pre-orders

After installing the buffer board and booster in a Mega ST4 I have 2 questions, I am able to boot in both tos 1.04 and tos 2.06. in both modes the screen shakes erratically from left to right from power on right to the desktop. I removed everything popped the 68000 back in and put the shifter back i...

I have got them on ebay a few times, never a problem. If you put a low profile socket then you never have to worry about soldering again.

If it is a Hong Kong motherboard then the chips are likely socketed. Thumbs up!. Makes it easy to add mods and toys.

Re: Hard Drive Options (Vanilla) for ST?

SupraDrives come up often on ebay, 20meg seems the most common and not overly pricey in just plugs into the asci port, or you could go with alanh monster ide interface and put a laptop drive inside.

Re: .HD Files

Hi Paul
You get partitioning software and driver files as well as support. Both HDDriver and pperas driver are actively supported and updated to work with all the great new devices like ultrasatan and mist. HDDriver is in the neighbourhood of 50 euros, so quite a bit more money.
