Re: The last MIST

Pity. Fully understandable of course, but a pity nonetheless. I'm very happy with the quality of mine bought from Lotharek. Here's hoping the community will still continue to exist and not slowly fade into nothingness...

Re: MIST development article series in c't magazine

Excellent, congratulations! It was thanks to their FPGA feature some months back that I discovered MiST. I've been a c't subscriber for decades so I'm looking forward to the articles.

Re: MIST C64 core

This core is brilliant! Very stable picture on my LG monitor (M227WDP) and realistic 1541 loading times for D64 disk files. :) Was a bit puzzled it did not work at first, but then realized I needed to update the MiST firmware before using the new core. Thank you!

Re: Using MiST as standalone MIDI synthesizer ?

Never even thought of this possibility, that's intriguing! I'm curious to see how it would work.

Not on your list unfortunately - Logitech Wingman Action Pad (2002-3) works for me.

Re: Core ATARI ST fire button on the mouse

It seems your USB gamepad doesn't like my way of hot detection. USB isn't trivial and these things will unfortunately always happen. No worries! Figuring it out was the hard part, now that I know how it works it's not a problem. Rather, I was actually amazed they do work, since they're really old (...

MiST w/ MIDI and ST core: MIDI Sequencers

Being very interested in the MIDI side of things, I got myself MiST with the MIDI interface add-on. It's amazing to have a mini-computer with built-in MIDI interfaces. After trying several versions of the Steinberg Cubase sequencer on the Atari ST core with varied results, I'm sharing this info in c...

Re: Core ATARI ST fire button on the mouse

Not sure whether this is the same case - I noticed a similar behavior with my USB game controllers not being recognized at all and the (right) mouse button taking the role of joystick fire. Finally I undestood hot-plugging does not work, even when followed by cold boot or reset. I had to power off M...

Re: Cheap VGA->HDMI adapter

I just received this adapter from some nice MIST user: http://www.amazon.de/dp/B00A6N9F5W Just got the same one today, and couldn't get it to work. When I connect the USB to MiST for power (not for audio, I understand this will not work), MiST turns dark and stops working (not sure what causes this...
