seastalker wrote:I think the GS already uses a PS2 port for keyboard so I may use an IBM model M there too.

The GS normally hasnt a PS2 Keyboard port....
Ports who look like this are serial ports on the GS for Modem and Printer
The GS has a 4-Pin-ADB (Apple Desktop Bus) Keyboard Port.

Re: How actively are you using your MiST?

How does the ZX Uno stack up against the MiST (for the Spectrum core)? The ZX-Uno stacks fine against the MiST as for the Spectrum Core, because in first place the ZX-Uno was built for Spectrum-usage and support many types of Spectrum-Choices :) But I think its harder to get it running and use it r...

Flea Ohm Zero - FPGA AMIGA (Minimig) in a RPi-Zero-Formfactor

Did anyone see the Flea Ohm Zero at
https://hackaday.io/project/13048-flea-ohm-fpga-project

On YouTube is a video from the last year with a small (like now) FPGA running the Minimig Core:
https://youtu.be/mPIfhLXsYkQ

Now the new Board has a bigger FPGA (ECP5 FPGA from Lattice Semiconductor)

Re: How actively are you using your MiST?

I like my 2 MiST :) After moving to a new home he is replacing much old computers I had and he is one of the best emulation because of the FPGA. Some cores could be better, but at most I like the AGA AMIGA Core and the CPC. For ZX Spectrum and other small cores I also got a ZXUNO or a RPi for Amibia...

Wouldnt it be an idea to ask Lothrek? He could make the pcb and a case and sell it as a "kit" without the main-pcb?

MiST is open source platform provided as is. It means there are no team or people who in charge of development. Thus it's unclear to who you address your post. Hobbyists just develop whatever they like, not by requests form others. Yes - I know that the MiST is a Hobbyist-platform and nobody is in ...

General Question: ZX-Uno Core on MiST?

In the last time there are some new cores on the UNO which other would like to see on the MiST. Unfortunately Iam not a FPGA programmer. In some Specifications the MiST is better than the ZXUno and and some less the ZXUno is a little better. I dont know how hard it is to port these cores to the MiST...

Re: New core: BK0011M

This core is pretty complete and bug free (at least in my tests), so there is no reason to update what is already done. That sound very fine :) Seems like a nicer computer. Do like the keyboard sound of the BK0010 :) Emulation in Windows doesnt seem as good as your core. Why (also in the original) ...

XT/PC was in the final round.... is anybody working on such a core?
If yes, he can take a look at the BETA XT-Core for the smaller FPGA-Computer ZX-Uno, which seems to get his XT core now :)

Any help would be appreciated. As you did write you got the problem with any core - but the most cores have their own author - I would suggest to check/upgrade yor firmware to the latest version, because the firmware is loaded before every core. So the chance that the problem is in the firmwarer yo...

So sometimes we have only to ask the right people :)

The pins are easy, rx to tx, tx to rx and ground to ground - congrats you now have a null-modem connection. How about getting a replacement MIDI-PCB and disable-ing the MIDI-Part and solder directly the TTL-Port to the DIN-Port-Pins?.... Then we could externally attach a TTL2Serial Controller...or ...

You can also move the 0Ohm-SMD Part or desolder it and short the other contact...and then you could solder a Power-USB-cable to the port which was for the power-connector.
