Although it wouldn't be included to Hatari, it can be of interest to others.

Here here, this is a fascinating aspect I'd love to try out.

Re: MIST MIDI questions

This seems to be a shortcoming of the MIST design, I talk about it some more in this thread: http://atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=115&t=32998&p=339804#p339804 It's a shame, because with just a few extra I/O pins from the FPGA it could be an amazing little sequencer box. One possibility I ...

Re: External Disk Drive As Main Drive?

What if my internal floppy port is damaged, ie: broken traces, is there a way to permanently "hard wire" this for a 1040STF for external port only? What steps does one skip?

Ok, I realized my error, this is an entirely different github page you're talking about.

Re: The last MIST

 discontinued, who can repair my mist. No jtag anymore. Let us switch to the Mister and make it to the best fpga platform MiSt Repo Deleted Why do you delete your repo if I use my original Lotharek made MiST everyday? We are still active users... And I wanted to download all your new arcade co...

Re: How actively are you using your MiST?

Since things seem to be pretty quiet around here, I have decided to create this pool to assess how actively is the community using their MiSTs. I understand that I will have to wait quite a bit to have a full picture (as the not so regular members come by) :) I've been a MiST owner for 2 or so year...

Re: New ST project - Pole Position arcade conversion

Can't wait to see the final version, this was incredibly fun to watch this WIP and I'm blown away the STe is comparable to an arcade release considering those arcade boards had dedicated processing for audio, sprites. Great job!

Re: What OS you using on your PC, MAC .. ?

When Atari axed the computer division, my first Windows PC was a 486 DX/33 running Windows 3.1 for the low low price of $1500, ($2400 in today's dollars)

I remember trying to access the internet using a VAX Shell account at my local college and using twinsock to access the internet using Mosaic.

Re: Does Midi work on Firebee ?

It's been two years since the last posting the thread, do I figured I would bump it since I am very interested in MIDI support and application compatibility for Hybrid Arts music programs. How's MIDI support on the Firebee as we approach 2016? I plan on owning both eventually (Firebee 2 is proposed...

Re: MiST and MIDI questions

I might be missing why you're using a thru box; I'm using the Edirol UM-880 MIDI patchbay. My MiST is on Channel 1 and then it is fed out to the other 7 Channels - each synth set to only accept their own channel. It's also quite easy to patch the output of my keyboard into the MiST or into any othe...

Re: What Atari computers you have?

Great to see many Atarians alive and well!

I own a MiST. I use it for MIDI using EditTrack Platinum 7.10 and it's tight as a drum with my setup.

Still trying to find an authentic 1040STe so I can trick it out with an Ultrasatan and updated monitor, a lot harder to find in Canada!

Re: MiST and MIDI questions

I tried it over the weekend. Edit Track v7.10. I have a pretty up-to-date MiST box: Brand new MiST owner here running latest firmware 151118 and ST Core 151123. I can say I'm pretty impressed with this little wonder box and have plans to hook this up to an array of gear (Complete Korg Volca series,...
