Computer Space

Thank you for this great core, playing this game was literally on my bucket list. One small request, is it possible to have the player's shot originate from the center of the player ship like in the video below?

Thanks for all the amazing work you do!

Re: How actively are you using your MiST?

I used quite a bit when I first bought it, now it usually sits on the shelf and sees seldom use these days. I like the concept of the whole thing but the cores are really a hit and miss affair. Although I am certainly grateful to the people who develop cores, I do think some people also need to real...

Atari 800 core & US keyboard cursor keys

Hello, It seems the (wonderful) Atari 800 core uses the European type keyboard for the key layout which places the 4-key cursor cluster directly to the left of the ENTER key using [{ for ↑, }] for ↓, '@ for ←, and #` for →. U.S. keyboards however have ;: and '" in the place of '@ and #` which m...

This is great, thank you. I always heard good things about the BBC Model B even though they were virtually unknown in the US. Where can I find the core?

I love the A8 core but I was wondering if there is any possibility of adding VBXE functionality to the Atari core someday?

Re: TRS-80 Coco 1/2 and Model 1

It was pretty amazing what companies like Big 5 and Adventure International were able to do with the Model I/III especially considering the lack of hi-res graphics, programmable character sets, color, and limited sound. Here is a game play example video of Eliminator... https://youtu.be/LRk9955hS4o ...

TRS-80 Coco 1/2 and Model 1

Anybody had time to check this out...

http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.comp.ha ... coco/76592

Basically it appears he has implementations of the TRS-80 Model I and the Color Computer 1/2. TRS-80 has a pretty good hobbyist following and tons of software.

Any use?

You may also want to connect with Individual Computers to provide cases for their upcoming Amiga Reloaded project.

Re: MIST compatible A1200 cases

Hopefully you have a plan B aside from the KS goal. I want 3 cases but I only backed 1 case as I am not willing to risk any more $$$ than that until I see these actually being produced. At that time, I would be in for a couple more different colors. Hopefully black, gray, and transparent will be off...

Re: MIST compatible A1200 cases

This is pretty "expensive" due to their having to build 3 moulds.

:megaphone: Yes, thank you I can read :) I meant of course it seems like a large goal even with all things considered (including the tooling).

Re: MIST compatible A1200 cases

I've looked into this and I'm pretty sure you can mill aluminum molds on a CNC machine fairly inexpensively. I recall making steel molds is a different process and are a lot more expensive to make but then again, I think they only make steel molds for very high production parts.

Re: MIST compatible A1200 cases

I don't know... $118 (shipped to USA) each seems like a lot to me for a new Amiga case without a keyboard (certainly the absolute maximum I would pay for something like this) and the $135k goal also seems to me to be pretty steep. Still it is interesting and more useful than just as a replacement fo...

This is really great. Awesome! Thanks a bunch for this!

Just a note that the Astrocade joysticks also had a paddle built-in and I think several of the games used it. Also, the Retronic adapter also supports the Astrocade controller:
