Re: How actively are you using your MiST?

my mist lives on a cupboard now, just I powered it on from time to time, quite a disappointment, I got it just for the ST/STE emulation, a lot of demos/games don't run, menu is a bit mess, no way to have different configurations like the minimig, the menu could be better if supported shortcuts

Spec core with ZXMMC+

I just noticed that there is a ZX core that supports the ZXMMC+, that's great! What I am trying now ,using a small, 1GB SD, is how to make the core using a +3e ROM to read the card, IIRC on a real +3a the SD card should be formated to IDEDOS , the problem here is that the core starts from the card s...

Re: HD Driver on the MiST?

Are you using 2 SD cards for this, ie one for booting the mist , then you swap with one that has the HDD ? As in my case (4GB SDHC, 2 partitions, the second is just <512MB) the HDDriver is corrupting the main SD while trying to setup the partition. you better stay on single partition and hdd as fil...

Re: MiST - FPGA ST

I had too a vic20, my second machine after the PET! Anyway, I noticed that some programs that I tried are not working, displaying a "TYPE MISMATCH" error, I can't recall if this has something to do with the ramexpansion. For example one of them is the Dark Dungeons by Anirog, written in BA...

Re: MiST - FPGA ST

Hiya all, Do I need an MSX mouse to work with the mouse option? There is a video on youtube , its some guy with a MIST running the same version I think of the MSX core with SYMBOS. I tried the latest core from the mist official site, and the full install of SYMBOS. So far I managed to install the SY...

Re: MiST - FPGA ST

Fantastic news!

any info on the specs of the core? MSX2?

I had the SVI-738 Xpress , later upgraded it to MSX2 (faster Z80/128k RAM)

Re: MiST - FPGA ST

I think the sega core is demo/preview I only can run some of the roms that I have. I tested (on Bubble Bobble) the SEGA joypad and a couple of other joysticks -that have dual button- and I can confirm that the second button is functional there, better check the cable or the PCB contacts of the butt...

Re: MiST - FPGA ST

Hello I am thinking to buy the mist mainly for the SEGA Master. I visited a friend of mine and he demo the machine to me. Not the best emulation I have to say, we used a couple of SMS joy-pads and the second button is not recognised, also not all of the games could run , a bit of dissapointment for ...
