Re: Hatari on tablet device

Thanks squall, I downloaded the apk. Works like a charm (including Immersive Mode on Android KitKat!) and there are no new glitches that I'm aware of. Some screenshots in fullscreen glory: http://abload.de/thumb/103kn5.png http://abload.de/thumb/22sjkl.png http://abload.de/thumb/36dkjt.png

Re: Hatari on tablet device

Installed the update 2 minutes ago! :D - if you have a hardware menu button on your device, you might not see the on-screen soft menu button anymore (the three dots). I can't see it either on my buttonless Nexus 7 2013. - if you have kit kat, please test out immersive mode if you can (enable develop...

Re: Hatari on tablet device

Quickest bugfix ever!

squall wrote:Have you tried the sync sound option?

This option makes no difference for me. But I noticed something strange: Lowering the sound latency makes the crackling go away! I've set it to 12 now and everything is well.

Re: Hatari on tablet device

@MeowZedong - What sort of device do you have? Having the slider all the way to the right means you're getting a latency of about half a second! I have the new Nexus 7, which should be fast enough, I guess. :) The crackling usually occurs after a few minutes and it goes away when I enter one of the...

Re: Hatari on tablet device

Yay, this update seems to have fixed the crackling sound I experienced with higher sampling rates. (I have to move the latency slider all the way to the right, though).

Bug report: The mouse/joystick toggle became reversed in the last update, it shows the joystick icon in mouse mode and vice versa.

Re: Hatari on tablet device

I've pushed a new version of Hataroid, should come through the store soon. Main changes are support for turbo (fast forward), keep screen awake option and lots of bug fixes. Great. Keep screen awake and fast forward are very welcome additions. Btw, the fast floppy mode does not make any noticeable ...

Re: Hatari on tablet device

squall: This is not terribly important, but is it possible to support KitKat's new immersive mode? The screen is already quite stuffed with all the GUI elements and getting rid of the navigation bar would increase the precious screen real estate, especially on smaller tablets. (I understand that the...

Re: Hatari on tablet device

Another thing: I'd like to see a "keep screen awake" option. Useful for watching demos. :)

Re: Hatari on tablet device

Ok, I've purchased a google publisher account and put up an initial version on the play store so it's easier for people to try out. Oh, I totally missed that post. It's working perfectly now! One small bug: When setting the sampling rate to an unsupported format, the app will immediately force clos...

Re: New visitor? Your first three posts need to be approved

Just a quick posting to reach the three-posts-limit a little more quickly. :) I still have a *very old* Atari ST with an external floppy drive in my closet. My father was an early adopter, bought it in 1985 - and almost thirty years later the machine remains fully functional. Take that, modern compu...

squall wrote:MeowZedong - try the latest version. Looks like Android 4.4 onwards now requires permissions to read from external storage (i'm still running 2.3.3).

Thanks! :D Can you upload the new binary for me, please?

Re: Hatari on tablet device

Hi, I registered specifically to say thank you for releasing this app in preliminary form. Great work! :!: However, I can't get it to work on my Nexus 7 2013 (running Android 4.4.2, if that matters). Hataroid is unable to find tos.img/tos_ste.img in the hataroid directory I created. Is there anythin...
