Re: FlashFloppy Gotek firmware updated to v0.9.3a

How are you finding flash floppy? Do you have HxC aswell? I have both. I have a Gotek with the latest HxC firmware loaded as well as a Gotek with the FlashFloppy firmware. I like browsing the disk image files and folders with an OLED display attached. I recommend using an OLED display and they are ...

Re: Monkey island disk 1, uncracked.

I had a similar issue and it turned out that the hub had come unstuck from the magnetic media and so the disk was not actually spinning. Just the hub. I ended up with a blank disk image as well. AtariZoll advice is good. Download a disk image from Atarimania and convert it to .ST format as the disk ...

FlashFloppy Gotek firmware updated to v0.9.3a

Thought I would share this as this works well on a Gotek and supports HFEv3 disk format.

I know this is a bit off topic but what about Pasti STX on a Gotek with the FlashFloppy or HxC firmwares? Would this be possible?

Re: Problem Replacing a Falcon 030 Floppy Drive

So far, I have not identified a provided means of changing the drive select to drive #0. Shall I bridge pins 10 and 12, or is there a better way? If this is a Sony MFP920 drive then the SEL0 (JC30) and SEL1 (JC31) set the drive ID. You can try and move the zero ohm connector currently on JC31 acros...

Re: Req : "Audio Sculpture" (STX,...) even not running...

Yes, I meant track 3... and tracks 0-2/4-79 done as INDEX, with track 3 done as SPLICE. The flux data is definitely there, or it wouldn't work under STEEM - and it does perfectly. The very last thing that this program does before popping up the main screen (after the nifty intro) is check track 3 a...

Re: Req : "Audio Sculpture" (STX,...) even not running...

Does this program really require TOS1.02? It doesn't work with TOS2.06 under STEEM, and I think my STFM's are all 2.06, so testing may not even be possible. Like I said, since this works in STEEM, the flux data is correct so writing it back should not be an issue. Tracks 1-2, 4-79 should be copied ...

Hi Robson, Would it be cheeky to ask, what are the chances of releasing the artwork and/or files you created for producing the boxes so that others could consider getting the Falcon boxes produced locally? I know there are a few Falcon owners in Australia and it would be nice if we could think abou...

Re: Req : "Audio Sculpture" (STX,...) even not running...

I have tried writing Brume's SCP dump back to floppy but it does not work in either my STE or STFM. I have tried the various options in the SCP program when writing back but I have had no success with getting a disk 1 that boots. On boot it accesses the disk twice and then no further disk activity a...

Re: SOLD:Atari Falcon 030 on eBay Australia

Atari wasn't that popular in Australia and so finding them locally, especially for a Falcon you pay the premium to avoid the import duty tax charges. Paid well over $1200 Australian for my Falcon. :D Whilst prices may be lower in Europe the Australian Dollar kills us and anything over AU$1000 attrac...

Re: Steem SSE 3.9

Looks like the issue with Sleepwalker might be Pasti and not Steem. I switched back to 0.2j version of pasti and Sleepwalker disk 1 loads fine. With Pasti 0.3a1 version I get a HALT in Steem 3.9.3. UPDATE: Seems to have been fixed with the latest Pasti.dll version 0.3a2 available: http://atari-forum...

Re: Alien world 1 x original disk - download anywhere?

Cheat code actually does works. Nothing bogus about it.

Title screen before typing the code:
Alien_00001.jpg

Title screen after typing the code:
Alien_00002.jpg

Now when you play the game, the 3 lives does not decrease when you die.

This might help someone get to the end of the game:

Thank you. I swapped the C300588-001 (shifter chip) and my STE is booting again. :D I must have been really lucky that this chip and the EPROM were the only ones damaged.
I will run some tests on it now it boots to make sure nothing else was damaged.

If these will power a stock Falcon 030, then I will be interested in one. What would postage be to Australia for an assembled one?
