Re: LaTeX from RIEMANN II

There are (probably vastly outdated) SpareMiNT LaTeX packages. But you'll need heavily accelerated machine (mostly because of RAM requirements) for it to be usable.

RAM consumption is small.

This is normal.

No, Nvdi already has everything SpeeedoGDOS has.

"Social Insurance" is nothing new in EU. Waste-electronic-equipment taxes and electronic interference certification in general do not apply to retro stuff (there is a loophole for a devices that extend other devices, and that is 99% of retro upgrades).

Re: New SuperVidel & some ideas for future development.

I don't care about dual screen output and additional storage could be a PITA when it comes to software support (like CTPCI). If the storage (IDE) registers will mask original registers, it will work from day 0. What I would like to see is a new device which would plug into expansion port on ct60 at...

Re: CT60e is coming :)

I've always wondered why he (Exxos) sells two types of 060. 004/006 and 002 Really there´re any difference? There are. Later revisions generally produce less heat, and can work stable when overclocked. Not true. The ones he sells are all Rev6 MC68060RC50 with the same mask set E41J and so use the s...

No, FreeMiNT was never ported to PPC, so it will not work on G5 natively.

You should avoid using Line-A calls, as they are not compatible with clones and never CPUs. Not to mention, that they're completely multitasking unfriendly.

Thanks fenarinarsa, from the moment I got my hands on your prod, I wanted to ask 'how you did it' :)

I like your prod a lot. I have one question: it seems that yo're not using whole screen, how much does that save?

As for the future: more please :)

Re: Hard disk driver update plan

That is, because modern OSes do not care what code is in partition table, they check data structures on partition and try to figure it out. I'm no expert in MBR partitions, but I think that you do not need to describe all partitions in MBR partition table. Write only description for the one you want...

I think that the better way is to do byteswaping in hardware - just by modifying the cable, or by simple interface,
