Yes, you can add it, but thats it.
I do know he once said he could process a certain number at the time, so I'll just keep trying.

Re: Vampire 2 type hardwar for ST and why I want it.

A combo of accelerator, 128 mb memory expansion, (ide) HD (and modern Video output) at a price of €150 would be a welcome addition to any my ST's but very likely never gonna happen....

Re: CosmosEx - new device for your Atari ST

Maybe this has been asked and answered before, but can a Raspberry PI 2 mod B be used and would it have some added benefits over the Raspberry PI mod B?

And if the CosmosEx is bought without a Raspberry does it still includes the SD card with the system files on it?

Re: Gotek Floppy Emulator

Nice post :) I hope you'll manage to make the Gotek work with .ST files. Maybe if you contact the Amiga firmware and software developers, they can help you. For the ones that haven't seen a Gotek drive working here it is an example (Amiga): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HOfnT-rV7mk I already reve...

Re: Atari STF Composite signal

I got it to work with the simple cable, I tried on a PAL tv and it shows the image in colour now, I used a NTSC tv before and thats why it was showing only B/W, I forgot about that little detail ;)

Re: Atari STF Composite signal

The atari video output isn't totally compatible with all TV's, its very hit and miss to start with. But why not use the STFM circuit and connect up the RF modulator IC, this generates composite out and I doubt you need much more than just the IC itself. yeah, I could try that but I wanted something...

Atari STF Composite signal

I have a Atari 1040 STF and although I use a video scaler and vga monitor which works fine but I want to be able to use a TV too. So I found this, http://www.hardwarebook.info/Atari_ST_Composite_Video_cable, which kinda works; I can see the image in both low and med res but only in Black and White. ...

Re: Gotek Floppy Emulator

720KB versions of the emulator do exist, but I haven't seen one actually tested in an ST. Also, part of the appeal of the custom firmware is that it works with a bootable file selector, so you don't have to blind-mount the images relying only on the display/buttons. If you get the 720kb version of ...

Re: Gotek Floppy Emulator

Looks like someone has managed to make a custom firmware to support amiga computers so hopefully someone can use the source once it is released to make a Atari ST version of the firmware. http://cortexamigafloppydrive.wordpress.com/2014/02/03/transform-the-gotek-floppy-emulator-into-an-amiga-floppy...

White Screen

I have a spare Atari 1040 STFM motherboard that boots to a white screen, I also notice that pressing the reset button doesnt do anything.

The power supply seems to be ok, I get 4.8v and 11.6v on it.

Most chips are soldered in so I cant swap a lot to test.

Where to start????

Bad keyboard

The keyboard on my STF1040 seems to be faulty as some keys don't work, like half work the other half doesn't. I cleaned it and mechanical it seems OK, there was one of the black wires broken but even after fixing that it still does the same. I do not have an extra keyboard to try, would it be worth ...
