Re: harleking 3 - Info

ASH started advertising in 1986. Later they even hired an ad agency to design their ads. Unlike all other companies however, they advertised in ST-Computer only. These ads stopped when Falkemedia took over ST-Computer. However, we had lots of reviews for ASH software - I still have my review copies...

Re: harleking 3 - Info

Thanks, I only had 3.10. Gaiyan is your version full? I didn't see any serial number. Shame about Harlekin 95. I saw it advertised for months in the German ST-Computer magazine, but it seems to be never found. Wonder if it was even released? According to the proTOS 95 article in ST-Computer magazin...

Re: A couple abandonware apps

curious if over the years anyone find the computer concepts Fast Basic compiler? Just a bump, as I can't find the Fast Basic Compiler anywhere on the net. I presume it was actually released at the time? Not sure if this is what you're looking for https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FAST-ST-BASIC-ATARI-ST-CO...

Re: A couple abandonware apps

Oh ok, thank you. It's a bit misleading to put it in the OP in a topic about abandonware apps :( Then I guess, since I'm playing it clean, 80€ it is ... I'm only interested in the desktop acceleration part of NVDI, not the fonts, printers and control panels, is there something actually free that wo...

Re: All FreeMiNT builds again available and more!

Ok, running cacheoff before the video driver causes a hard fault when booting MiNT: cacheoff.png So then tried placing cacheon right before mint but same hard fault. Disabling cacheoff and cacheon and editing MMUSETUP.CNF to disable caches (removed EDC and EIC from the CACR line) gives a successful ...

Re: All FreeMiNT builds again available and more!

Yes, I have the same issues as Kroll. I had to switch to Jinnee as the desktop for MiNT on Hades (but I prefer it anyway :D ) SET_MMU.PRG is causing problems with MiNT, I used the default configuration file you refer to and (the only change I made was to adjust the TT RAM line to fit my machine's m...

Re: All FreeMiNT builds again available and more!

It's hard to answer your questions, I'm neither user of set_mmu nor I have a Hades. :-) I would assume that MMUSETUP.CNF has proper setup exactly for Hades. Aranym uses a much simpler/more straightforward setup with this tool. But from your description I'm quite confident this why you and TheNameOf...

Re: Best Screen Print Utility

Hmm, can it run from the AUTO folder as a TSR to replace the ALT-HELP hardcopy routine? I'm trying that but not seeing the saves images. Using as the ACC works, but I need to be able to print the screen and show the mouse pointer in specific spots which I can't do if I have to go to the accessory me...

Re: Best Screen Print Utility

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I am looking for a screen print utility now that prints to IMG format so I can use in a hypertext without having to convert every picture.

Snapit only prints in degas format unfortunately.

Do you know if there is a tool to convert STG source files to clickable PDFs?

HCP.TTP not extracting all images from HYP file

I am trying to reconstruct the source of ACSPRO.HYP, but HCP.TTP from ST-Guide v1.5 isn't extracting all the images. Only the last 13 images are saved to disk after HCP exits. The resulting source file itself looks ok and includes all the references to the non-existent (not extracted) image files. U...

Re: All FreeMiNT builds again available and more!

Ok, renamed MFP.XDD to MFP.XDX and the system boots up to teradesk. However, when I selected the teradesk "about" dialog the system had a total lockup. See associated picture. Nice. :-) Is this with NVDI installed? If yes, try to disable other (non-essential) AUTO programs/ACCs. Also, whe...
