You may have a look at GEMJing (source available, PSG parts by Jörg Hahne in SAMROUTS.S).

Currently, none of the Alt-RAM solutions for the MegaSTE are sold as ready-to-go-kits, AFAIK. Either wait a bit, or tell the authors you’re interested, or re-create your own one out of schematics.

I hope someone finds this useful! Please feel free to provide any feedback :) I am really excited about this app! I have a Mega STe but no hard drive (well if: an old Protar ACSI wayward) and rather than buying an UltraSatan I would like to use a Raspberry Pi to manage this external drive. I have s...

Hi all I've taken MonoSerialDisk and modified it to work with .NET Core 3.0, along with adding a bunch of bugfixes and improvements. Please take a look at https://github.com/z80andrew/SerialDisk. The current release is for Windows x64, but I plan to provide binaries for Linux soon. I hope someone f...

Re: https for atari-forum.com

I don’t get why this discussion is often about having HTTP _or_ HTTPS. Actually, you can have both. There’s no technical requirement to forward HTTP requests to HTTPs. A site can offer both protocols, and the user can decide which to use. It’s only that many sites do the redirect, to protect the use...

Re: Wiki dead?

Just for the record, I converted FreeMiNT's wiki (originally in MediaWiki format) to github's wiki quite easily -- mostly done by public scripts. IMO this is the best place to preserve the wiki, another private/temporary hosting site will sooner or later disappear. Unless Github will be the new Mys...

Hi. I'm noticing severe AES slow downs with GDOS active on TOS 1.4 and 1.6. The desktop is running about 50% of the speed it should. All events have a lag to them. It seems to run on 2.05 fine though. I need GDOS for some old apps that won't play nice with NVDI or Speedo. Microsoft Write won't work...

Surely there must be some schematics for one of these in an old German Atari magazine, or someone must have copied and drawn up the Autoswitch version by now? The precursor of the Overscan ST has been published back then, but Overscan TT is something completely different. It wasn’t published back t...

I have upgraded SYREC and wrote a page about it so you can discover its features. This little tool (less than 9KB) allows you to spy and record every system call of an application and get a text file with all informations. Looks like cool stuff! Any chance that the parameters handed over to the fun...

So I have finally done it - picked up my TT (2 MB ST RAM, Rev.J, 08/1992 - one of the last TTs produced) from Jookie, cleaned it up, installed all the hardware mods I had laying around for years and naturally, at one point I had to bump into a trouble. :) So... would there be a chance to have a Magic PC with this source ? Unlikely. IIRC MagicPC was not developed by AK, MagiCPC was written by Franz Schmerbeck, who also wrote Signum years earlier. Compiling the emulator itself is no big deal, it only spits a lot of warnings. What's troublesome is that it is...

Re: Atari Falcon 030 / 060 (with CT60e 512MB, CF, ScreenBlaster) - CT60, CT63, CT60e

I have always been wondering - where those people (buyers) go then? We've seen so many ridiculously overpriced Falcons sold over the past few years but not so many additions to our user (god forbid coder) base. Do they really just put them on the shelf? There are so many 'other' filter bubbles that...
