Re: Good bye

Be realistic: authors can't spend their lives tracking websites that dumped their websites without asking, and "suggest updates". This is special topic: -- two way links -- We are stuck with this still-born child from Tim Berners Lee for decades now! ...while we could have something much ...

Re: Good bye

Authors of demoozo was pissoff by admins of pouet so they create their own site to be “better” then pouet and at the end they are same! Sorry but that's pure nonsense. We (Pouet) kindly donated our entire database to Demozoo as a starting point for their efforts. Furthermore, a whole bunch of staff...

Re: uip-tool

Very nice, indeed. I personally use a similar solution (same reasoning - faster dev cycle), mint.prg in AUTO + svethlana.xif + 4-line mint.cnf which sets up IP address and runs a small kind of ftp server. So I can use everything FreeMiNT has a driver for. Hi Mikro, can you share this files in singl...

Re: SV FW rev 10 and new Svethlana driver

Well Saulot integrated mint driver of svethlana in sqward uip-tool but he did not finish it since none of the debugging tools work reliably with supervidel/svethlana and mc68060... I would be super happy if uip-tool would work with svethlana. Uip tool is super easy to use, much better than e.g. ftp....

Re: Good bye

This is outrage! How it is possible that admins of pouet and demooz wont remove your stuff from database?!? Authors of demoozo was pissoff by admins of pouet so they create their own site to be “better” then pouet and at the end they are same! Btw I also thinking a lot about this online information,...

I still did not get an answer if it is possible to use Svethlana without MiNT (from TOS)?

It is believed that there does exist a dungeon demo for the ST (even saw it on youtube), but I couldn't find it anywhere. Here you go: Amberstar 2: Dungeon-Demo How is this possible? This is recorded on some ST emulator?? (on Amiga 500 Ambermoon 3D part is like slideshow...) Do you have TOS exec. f...

Re: Ambermoon Soundtrack (ATARI ST version)

AmberSTar is probably my favorite game on ST! And music in AmberStar made is a really special. Jochen Hippel made it. So Big Alec of Delta Force worked on these track for AmberMoon? Nice. btw I am also big fan of AmberStar (and other games) remixes by ACC:Xess (and his video clips!) e.g. https://www...

Re: Read Atari floppies on Mac or PC or Amiga

Format floppy on PC and then use it on Atari.

---

or you have floppy disks in Atari specific format (more than 79 tracks and more sectors...) and you want to read them on PC or Amiga because your Atari does not have "connection" to PC (so you can not move files from Atari to PC)?

Re: Had an Amiga first, then bought an ST later??

I had ST from 1986 and I bought Amiga 500 somewhere in 1993. just to play games and continue to use ST for serious stuff (SM124 was unmatchable ;) )

Re: Porting SOTB to the Falcon

Can you set video address for each horizontal line on Falcon?
Zarchos use this ability on Archimedes to achieve part of paralax scroll in his demo...

btw Minter's Llama Zap use bitplanes or TC?

Re: Porting SOTB to the Falcon

My mistake!
I only watch that demo on YouTube. I will try it on my Falcon.

So Falcon can freely scroll entire screen per pixel i! truecolor? Nice :)

And you can copy around 2MB/s of data per second? It is something like 1/3 of screen at 50fps.

Re: Porting SOTB to the Falcon

Actually, even this can be worked around at no cost -- don't know if he was the first one to discover it but I saw a great trick by Patrice Mandin in his Street Figther demo/port - using the Videl horizontal setting registers to simulate the missing word. Patric Mandin port/demo of Street Fighter f...

Re: Porting SOTB to the Falcon

Yes it can. Hardware scrolling has nothing to do with the bandwidth. The only restriction is that you have to set the screen address to an even word, so for horizontal scrolling in TrueColor you can't scroll an odd number of pixels per VBL, i.e., 2 pixels per VBL are the minimum. Actually, even thi...
