Re: 4 Player Adapter

Is the paraller 4 player adapter same for both Amiga and ST? Would this work with Atari too? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/COMMODORE-AMIGA-4-PLAYER-ADAPTER-MULTIPLAYER-GAMES-/320597946003?pt=UK_VideoGames_VideoGameAccessories_VideoGameAccessories_JN&hash=item4aa5206e93 A few weeks ago i tried the S...

Re: Iron Lord

Hehe, now this brings back memories! Unfortunately, i'm not talking about the game - i've never played it, but i do remember the cover art. Used to see it advertised in many magazines and always wondering what it was like (for whatever reason - i always imagined it would be good though). Sorry i ca...

Re: Dyna Blaster VS Dynabusters VS +

Just a few words to Dynabusters as my group was the one that released both versions... Thank you for your input. It's much appreciated! :) the game is STE and FALCON only. I have a 1040 STE so that would be fine. Just out of curiosities sake, the original Dyna Blaster required 1Meg - is this the sa...

Leaderboad for Gauntlet II

Is there a Leaderboard in the Atari ST version of Gauntlet II ? I could have sworn i saw it once when playing on a friends modded (1mb) 520 STE. I've played this arcade conversion countless times (even last week) but no such Leaderboard. The only version of Gauntlet II i have is the one-disc version...

Re: What is your Favorite 2 or multiplayer Game On ST/e/F030

Forgot to mention SEGA's Crackdown. Loved this at the arcades and then loved it even more on the Atari ST! An excellent arcade conversion at awesome in split-screen co-op! My favourite 2-P retro split screen game!

4P Gauntlet wiki Entry: wrong!?

I looked at the wiki entry for the 4P adapter games and the original Gauntlet game was listed. However, i do not believe this to be the case. Just the other day, to test this out, i plugged in my 4P (printer port) adapter and put in my original/commercial, 2 disc version of Gauntlet. It didn't work....

And the second is a shareware title, where you get chased by chickens and ninjas! There's about 4/5 levels in the demo of that! Haha, that sounds awesome! It would be a very interesting multiplayer chook-chase! The STFormat one disk 60? Something? Had ym chip sound FX i'll see if it is sp...

Re: Dyna Blaster VS Dynabusters VS +

There was an ST compatible version 'demo' featured on STFormat and a demo of a Falcon version and there's a 'fuł Falcon shareware version 'austrailian' in origin! Hmm, interesting. I can't remember any demo on ST Format cover discs (i think i am missing about 4-6 demo discs). You wouldn't happen to...

RPG game name help! My first post... It's been bugging me for some time now and I've even started to convince myself that it might not be an ST game, but it must have been.. To set the era... I owned a 520 ST, with 1.09 STOS, when 1.08 was the STOS to have... ;) It even had a SS floppy drive!!! doh...

i actually got it working... by doing the exact OPPOSITE of what the manual said to do! Good job  Glad you got it going. Thanks mate! :D I WAS hoping to find some hidden gems on that second-hand drive, but all i've found so far are some desktop accessories, couple of 'meh' PD games, some pr...

Re: How to work Supra Hard Drive w/o disc?

The extra drives can be accessed by highlighting any drive icon, then going to options and install disk drive. Change the letter to the drive partition you want and click on install. Once you've done this you should be able to see the drive on the desktop. Don't forget to save the desktop (options ...

Dyna Blaster VS Dynabusters VS +

I am now a proud new first-time owner (and patiently awaiting delivery of) a CIB Dyna Blaster for the Atari ST (with adapter). I know the original UBI Soft version supports 5 players simultaneously, but i read here and there that some versions (Dynabusters ?) are 6 players, so... --> What are the va...

Re: How to work Supra Hard Drive w/o disc?

Ok, that makes sense, but my problem is getting anything on the ST desktop screen to show up (apart from the A & B Drive & Trash icons) so as to recognize the drive is connected when on.

Is there some accessory that would 'create' a HD drive icon so i could actually get access into the HD?

How to work Supra Hard Drive w/o disc?

I dug out my ebay-purchased 30MB ( 8O ) Hard Drive and connected it to my 1040 STe (first time used on any of my ST's). Looked through the manual and read you need a start-up floppy disc in order to set it u. Unfortunately, when i got the thing second-hand off ebay, i got no such disc (i'll scour th...

Re: ST Printer support for new/modern printers?

How much is printing form the Atari worth to you? Not 79 quid! Though that device is looking like the best option but i would order the cheaper one from the States that Dark Willow linked to. I am organizing an Atari event for early next year and would like to have a new(ish) printer hooked u...

ST Printer support for new/modern printers?

I'm curious if there are any patches/drivers/etc that can let the Atari ST be able to use modern/recently made printers? The other thing is, i haven't seen a printer for a while that had the necessary connection so as to hook-up to an ST (all USB connectors i've been seeing for years). I doubt there...

I just tried out my original (2 disc) version of Gauntlet and it did not recognize the 4-P joystick printer adapter nor did it work with it. Also, the instructions only me...

Re: 4 Player Adapter

In Dynbabusters you can use the STE controller ports iirc, and even the Jaguar 4 port box possibly (forgot the name). Dynablaster probably not. Joysticks 3 and 4 went into the standard joystick/mouse-port if you had the original with the interface box. On the cracked version I presume this had been...
