Hi Karl,
Ordered too. I have a problem too with my shipping address, PayPal locates me in UK but I'm in France... I wrote to the same address as Wietze to sort this out.

Re: I just bought an Atari Mega ST4 with hard drive in it!

I have a similar Mega ST, with internal HDD and a switch. The switch select 1 MB or 4 MB RAM on mine. I guess your switch does the same, it was quite common back in the days as some games didn't work with 4MB RAM.

Re: How to find damaged trace? [SOLVED]

Thanks for "up-ing" this topic, I have a Falcon with some NVRAM problems. The NVRAM has been changed by the former owner - but I would have made the same result and I can't write the NVRAM correctly anymore.

Re: Mega STe differences ?

Orion_: a program exists, you can find it here. Edit: ah damn, it's for ASCI.. but maybe it can show up some problems.
Do you also have some gotek device to make a test ? Maybe your floppy drive is doing wrong.

Also, it's can't be the $FFFFxxxx.w trick, it works nicely on my own Mega STe.

I had to solder some wires on the MSTE to make the blitter work again. Didn't have a sub-board. Maybe in the next version ?

Missing cap C4 on Mega ST motherboard

Hello, I have received a rev 4 Mega ST motherboard. The mobo seems clean but the C4 capacitor is missing. I see on a schematic that it's a 100µF cap, but the voltage is not given. I don't have any other Mega ST mobo under the hand. Can someone give me the reference in order to buy the missing cap ? ...
