Re: Repair split screw threads in Atari ST

Re: Repair split screw threads in Atari ST

I actually used the glue gun to do what you suggest a few months ago but careless handling is what's just broken it again. I think homebase make have some wall plug type things I can use to replace them with. I'll be opening the machine again but probably not regularly.

I put some cellotape over the Atari logo and used a st...

Gotek Floppy Emulator

I'm looking for a cheap floppy emulator as the HxC is a bit pricey for cheap retro gaming and came across this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-5-USB-SSD-Floppy-Drive-Emulator-Roland-E100-Korg-/200628096893?pt=UK_Computing_FloppyDiskDrives_SM&hash=item2eb65dcf7d Based on the information on using a P...

Re: Retr0brite

Hope this helps - I successfully retrobrited my STFM using bblonde today. The bottle cost me ~£1.70 from Boots (can't remember the exact price but it's this stuff: http://www.chemistdirect.co.uk/bblonde-cream-peroxide-40vol_1_205.html ). Despite being overcast with occasional sunny spells it worked ...
