Re: MyAES is here!

Same here. On the Falcon, I am able to display 256 color icons properly only when the video mode is set at 256 colors. With a HC/TC video mode the 16 color pictogram is used instead. Lod. Than there's the Thing Desktop. That's a wonderful desktop for sure. I like it's functionality. It's perfect for...

The icons (32 pts./256 colors) are in zdesk.rsc. Lod. Re: Firebee and resolution in FireTos

There were a few FireTOS 2017 test builts (i.e. patched by F.) with a fixed 640*480 screen res.. Looks like you have one of those.. Newer "Patched" builds behave correctly. I suggest to ask ACP support. Ldv This firebee received my friend in april this year ldv-01: Yes of course and I have...

From the symptoms, you might have a test version of FireTOS with fixed screen resolution. When you boot, Do you have a "patch # by.... " line before the FireTOS version line ?

Re: Back into Firebee

Yes. On the FireBee, Papyrus X crashes when you create a new table (same for Papyrus 7 and Papyrus8) but it is possible to load documents containing tables. In Papyrus Gold 5.15 (Hisoft) tables work fine, but It crashes while typing on a page and at loading documents. Finally Papyrus 5.55A handles t...

Re: CosmosEx - SLM Printer Emulation

Took a while, and finally found the Heatseeker manual(in German)/HD Floppy. This interface is for the DSP port. The disk contains a FONTGDOS/DIABL630 setup likely specific to the Heatseeker (a SLM_HS.SYS GDOS driver is available). Unfortunately, no technical/programming details are included. Would b...

Re: CosmosEx - SLM Printer Emulation

Good finding! ROM distributed the Heatseeker SLM interface for the Falcon. This interface was developed by Laurenz Pruessner. Altough this was a while back, you may ask them if they have some dev doc left. Not neccessary to scan, somebody did already, just got the tipp in atari-home.de: 804 manual: ...

Attached the Appendix C from the SLM user's manual. Later I'll scan the complete manual (+the Diablo 630 emulator user's manual) for the Documentation Archive.

1st1 wrote:Hello, yes please. Can you scan and upload the whole manual? I think this is quite rare. We can put it to dev-docs.

Nice project. I am interested in one for my Falcon CT60. Remind me somehow the Falcon CLab MKX case. BTW, the CLab case has an internal metal layer to support floppy / hard drives and other internal HW and openings in the front panel for a floppy and a CD. "rezmode = 3" seem to be correct for all use cases covered by modes.prg. Please try the attached version, it outputs separate configuration-files for XaAES and MyAES. Replace the video-settings in myaes.cnf with "include /c/mint/ma_video.cnf". I tested it and it works! Thanks Jo...

Preview image of MyAES/Mdesk with a test version of my new "Linear TC" icon set in the PNG 32bit format. The screenshot is from my Aranym set, but on the FireBee (32 bit) or the Falcon/Supervidel (16bit) I have similar results.
