the 3.1.4 and the ide, im using 3.1.4 on both mister and mist and not had a single problem... [snip] ... so pleased with being able to access 4 devices on the ide. just reading the comments about the 3.1.4 and the ide, im using 3.1.4 on both mister and mist and not had a single problem. im running amigaos 3.1.4 on an 8gb hdf with whdload being on a separate 8gb hdf, i use a 100mb hdf for transfer from the pc to the amiga side with a 2gb hdf for misc on the ami...

i know this thread is oldish but my mist did the exact same thing and rather than put the barrel jack in and loose the usb update if needed i traced the usb pins and soldered a long usb lead in and made sure i couldnt put it out the hole and now its back to normal is.

i have seen that today and will have a go at that and see if i can get the A button to work as i have 2 of these joypads and would be good to get them working but its not a major thing as i do use my zipstick and competition pro on the mist

i have updated the mist to latest firmware and the A button still doesnt appear but now i also have a mister and when i plug the playsage into that all buttons work as they should and before anyone shouts i know there are both different. i have a generic xbox 360 to usb adapter which i plugged into the pc and synced the controller to and moved to the mister and the xbox 360 controller works like a charm in every core and i have the xbox button set up as the magic menu button. i haven't checked as yet if 2 controllers work for 2 play...

Please double check the rom you are loading. MiSTer only checks for the right file size. Hi not long got my de-10 nano and just received an i/o board, sd ram card and rtc with case all funky and gotten most thing working now. on the minimig core thou i am having strange things happen, first was when i had a 16gb sd card when i load the core up with the 1.3 kick.rom in root i got a flash...

tried the vga to scart again on the samsung and the amiga core is rock solid just every other core so at least i know my vga to scart lead is working as it should do. next i am going to take it apart and redo the cable and put some shrink wrap on the audio and video cable in sections to keep them to...

i've just made my vga to scart lead today and so far on a samsung 42" the picture rolls on the bbc amiga and atari st core but on my 50" lg the amiga and st cores are roark solid but the bbc flickers and i can't get the c64 to show a picture at all
not sure if it's my cable or something else

on the mist you could use the nmi button to activate the action replay or like they do on the zx core use shift f11 and the action replay would be good for the fast load and the ability in the utica menu etc
it only loads like a normal cart

crt in emulators is for carts like the c64 action replay/retro replays and multiface in the sd spectrum, atari st's and amstrads but can also be called roms or bin images just depends on who has backed them up

OK sorted, took out the 150ohm resistors and now the picture is perfect.
