Re: Dead Falcon

Hi, IIRC, for FXtender the Falcon clock traces were heavily modified. Check that the "clock separating resistors" R216, R217, R221 and R222 are restored correct. Also lift and re-seat the chips U62, U63, U67 and U68 to make sure they all have correct contact. U24 (near midi port) and U52 (...

Re: What resistor is R49 on the Falcon mainboard?

Hi,

it´s a 68 Ohm SMD resistor here on an old Rev. B board.
But i could not find R49 in the Falcon schematics yet, so no guarantee.

Re: HDDRIVER : CT63 crash at boot

Hi Pierre,

ABE, SDR and CTPCi version are displayed at boot, but not very accurate, right beside the Atari logo.
After a reboot (warm start), there are more info than at first start.

Re: HDDRIVER : CT63 crash at boot

Hi, is your CT63 + CTPCI flashed with the latest ADE, SDR and CTPCI.jed files? Attached, also the latest ct60conf.cpx. I remember in german Atari-Forum somebody reported problems if one harddisc is connected to Falcon IDE and another one connected to CTPCI IDE at the same time. So perhaps try to use...

Re: HDDRIVER : CT63 crash at boot

Hi,

in ct60conf.cpx/Boot, you have to set "New Boot IDE 1-4/SCSI 0-7" and select the IDE port in the lower right corner.

In fact i was inspired by your Qextract :D and found that i can do it the opposite way. But honestly, i never would have publis...

Re: Exxos Clock patch

Hi, Hi Latz, so do you still have the 470ohm resistor solderd on the board, with clock patch installed? 47 Ohm, not 470. I removed it, because in addition to the resistor (56 Ohm) on clockpatch this one works as a Voltage divider, which causes less than half clock signal amplitude for U36. If you ha...

Hi,

i just installed it last week in my second Falcon.
Nice PCB layout, works absolutely correct here...after i removed the 47Ohm "termination resistor" near U36
(for CT60) which i soldered years ago and forgot it... :D

Hi, don´t give up so fast! Drive (Toshiba) is displayed in HDdrutil, right? If you click on "Install HDdriver", the available drives/partitions should be shown. Select drive C:, click OK, quit hddrutil. Remove the floppy and reboot, there should be a bootmessage of HDDriver. On the desktop...

Re: CT60 Black (out of range) screen

Hi, as both PicoPSU and CT60 power connectors are very tight, perhaps you caused mechanical damage on CT60 board (power connector, SDRAM slot, peripheral components around the power connector) when plugging PicoPSU. Check carefully solder points, capacitors; unplug/reseat SDRAM. Is the CT60 still fi...

Yes, sure.
What i mean is: Is this a bug in CT60TOS or in MinT?
If this message is correct, the MinT IKBD handler should be updated/fixed.

Hi, Yes, I’m also receiving that message when scrolling. OK, so the question is: Is this message correct? If yes, this issue should be fixed in FreeMinT. But if the detection of "MinT IKBD handler" is wrong in CT60TOS USB driver (and so the message is wrong, too), we´re stucked again... An...
