Re: uip-tool

Mind you it was quite some time since I last used Uip-tool, probably the very first versions or so. And with the proper serial drivers Ghostlink isn't that bad, plus it's very convenient to use on the Atari as it shows up as an extra device. Funnily enough the Ghostlink device shows up in the web br...

Re: uip-tool

Just got around to test the latest version on my Falcon. Awesome. Great work! I experienced that the old version was just moderately faster than using Ghostlink over serial and 115200 baud. Now it's blindingly fast!

Re: uip-tool

I tried packing my stuffs with ST-Zip and it took a loong time even with compression deactivated. Not to mention STZip crashed for me with weird Mint kernel messages, I think directory recursion didn't do it any good. But basically that is the way to go, bundle stuff in container files and transfer...

My early revision TT works well with the Netusbee. Maybe later revs have problems?

Re: Bad Mood : Falcon030 'Doom'

I'm probably missing something obvious. I downloaded the Dec 08 version and the December 11 patch. But I cannot get it to work. I use the free doom1.wad - file that worked nicely with the earlier version from the beginning of 2014. I got messages about "Could not locate entry in WAD: ...."...

Re: Strange Compact Flash problem

Just wanted to add that I just managed to make my Falcon find my AEC-7720UW adapter using the hints in this thread. Mind you that for the UW-variant there are no 3.88 Firmware, but 3.89. My card came originally with 3.84, which didn't work, the activity led didn't even flash when I turned everything...

Re: Ghostlink and opening prg files

I have made the connection, i can see the contents of the folder, i can copy files to and from the Z drive on the atari but i can't open PRG files from it. Is that normal? If i drag it to an empty floppy i can start it from there but i cant start it directly from the Z drive. If that works it would...

Re: 14mb falcon memory card wanted

How many do you plan to make. Having just managed to aquire a 4MB Falcon and trying to run MiNT on it I realized 14 MB is a good idea, and better get the parts while they're still available. So if the price is right I would be interested in a memory module as well. Is this the kind that requires mod...
