Re: CF cards partioning for TT with Storm-card

Another alternative is to buy a dual IDE to CF adapter. You can then format the primary card for TOS and the secondary card as a PC compatible card.

Re: TT and Ultrasatan

Hello, I search but I don’t find an answer. It is possible to use Ultrasatan to replace the scsi HD? My HD is broken so I want to boot on the Ultrasatan. What sort of cable I need to connect it to the TT (inside the TT)? UltraSatan is an ACSI device. You can connect it to the external ACSI port of ...

Re: Falcon NVRAM / Dallas chip - where to find replacement?

I got a couple from China, and used them in my Falcon since 2 years ago. Not sure if they are counterfeit or malfunctioning but it keeps the settings and time. Still working nicely.... so if they are used ones, probably have few years left only... only time will tell. Or may be I lucked in. .... to...

Re: Falcon NVRAM / Dallas chip - where to find replacement?

Simply because you have no idea what you'll get. A lot of ICs from China (ebay) are counterfeit, malfunctioning or used. Buy one from Mouser and save yourself a lot of potential hassle. I don't know where you're located, but at least to Europe Mouser has free FedEx priority shipping (you'll have the...

Re: Updated GFA-BASIC Library released

Wow! Awesome work! GFA Basic was the first software I bought for my ST (except for some games) and I used it a lot before switching to assembler. I have very fond memories of it and it makes me really happy to see how much you care for it Lonny.

Re: Turbochip - 7-channel YM+DMA replay

Quick test of how the Nemesis theme now sounds compared to the test I did months back. Quite the improvement! Wow! Sound freakin' awesome! Time for a Nemesis release on the Atari STe. Wasn't DML working on something like that? Combining his game engine with your replayer would make one heck of a ga...

Re: Modern multisync monitors?

Yes. It's amazing for the Falcon030. Accepts any frequency you throw at it and is super fast to sync when frequencies change, making it the only modern monitor I'm aware that can be used to view all Falcon030 demos without missing out on frames during switching of video modes.

Re: TT Clock Battery

I noticed my TT seems to lose time a lot. It has a new tadrian battery. I've been using wongck's excellent Synctime to grab my ISPs NTP time every time it boots, works great :) I replaced the battery but I have the same problem. A lot of times between power-ons it loses the time. Haven't had the ti...

Yes. NTFS is not a bad fs but the Windows layer cripples it in many ways. Not making any distinction between lower- and upper-case letters is another one. It's kind of amusing to see how confused Windows gets in this case.

Re: Falcon030 Blitter emulation in Hatari

Hi, Thanks for your words, that's what keeps the Atari scene alive :) Some are working on emulators or fpga clones, some are still coding demos or games, it's often on our spare time, but in the end it's always with the pleasure of keeping the spirit intact. And even coding demo can be an indirect c...

Re: Willies Adventure - Words from Daniel Hedberg.

Yes, I do hope Thomas gets back on the Atari again. I think he kind of took a break after the release of ACE 2. Sometimes real life comes in between! And about Hatari. I think we the Hatari team to thank for a lot of releases the last 10 years. Without Hatari a lot of people would never have gotten ...

Re: Falcon030 Blitter emulation in Hatari

Wow! THANK YOU! It works like a charm and I'm most grateful for your work! I usually develop on real hardware but sometimes I don't have access to it and then I rely 100% on Hatari, and with my latest project it's been hard since I started using the Blitter, but now everything works again! I'd reall...
