Re: BeeKey Atari on a key and now BeePi

I set up BeePi today and tried to compile hello.prj with AHCC. The compiler error suggests that there seems to be a problem with finding the correct include path. I have tried adding the full path into the .prj file and the config, both "\" an d"/", various compiler options in co...

Re: NEW USB Host Controller via ACSI

After adding your brilliant IDE board to my STe, I was looking at ethernet and usb from Lotharek's expected NetUSB card. Would this ACSI unit offer a faster equivalent and more importantly, would it work reliably in Tos 1.06 and with a the faulty DMA chip which my STe has?

Re: NEW IDE Controller & TOS 2.06 board (with extras)

Success. Now at last my STe has become a fun tool to learn with. Hats off to alanh for this wonderful piece of engineering. You certainly need patience and a steady nerve to align the pins over the CPU socket and then not press too hard on any side or risk bending them. This must have taken...

Mine arrived today. Looks like a very nicely made board. I will install this weekend and report back.

Maxon Prolog also turns up on Google but where is the disk?

Re: PROLOG

Hi I looked into similar a while ago and found a couple of Atari ST prolog articles in STart magazine. http://www.atarimagazines.com/startv2n5/prolog.html http://www.atarimagazines.com/startv3n8/step_up_prolog.html I was unable to find images of either of the two commercial products mentioned but GP...

Would love to know the story behind the discovery of this cache of nib Falcons. I mean where have they been all these years, how did they surface?

Re: net selling printed circuit boards ultrasatan

I'm up for this. I can do the assembly but how easy is the chip programming for a n00b with the ability to follow instructions and bit of common sense? :?

Re: ultrasatan reopen factory

This is good news. Having an ultrasatan and netusb would persuade me to make my STe a serious productivity machine. The quality of these products as reported by satisfied buyers is testament to Zaxon's skill. The reason I can't quite press "buy" is that I am not confident I know if, or whe...

Re: Hello from a noob - no sound output from 520 STE

Some better news. I took the two channel stereo output from the STe and into the PC line in socket...and sound. A little distorted but definitely there, key clicks and all. Strange thing is that the two channel audio inputs on the TV works (and sounds crystal clear) with Amiga output when connected ...

Hello from a noob - no sound output from 520 STE

Hello I am new to the forum and to real Atari - although I have been playing with Hatari. The problem is this: no sound comes from the RF or stereo RCA outputs from my 520 STE, TOS 1.6. I've spent a lot of time today looking for a solution here and through Google. Brief background: this is a UK orig...

Re: How to transfer files from pc to vanilla 520 ste

Thanks for your prompt advice. The PC is a laptop so I am stuck with the usb drive option and possible issues you mentioned. Another idea might be to copy the ste serial link utility from laptop to my ...ahem Amiga via serial cable with Aexplorer. Then see if Amiga Crossdos tool can read/write an st...

How to transfer files from pc to vanilla 520 ste

Hi, I am new to this board and Atari! I am looking forward to the arrival of a base 520 ste, content of any included disks unknown. Until I get a satan I want to make some disks for the ste with apps I use in Hatari on pc. I have found how to do this using a serial cable and utility app (forget the ...
